Westgate Smokey Mountain Resort is the perfect getaway for couples or families. The resort is located in a beautiful, scenic area with gorgeous views of the Smokey Mountains. Better yet, it is conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, so it is close to the National Park and many other popular activities, restaurants and fun destinations. This 5-star resort is pristine and has many amenities you and your family will enjoy. The staff is top notch and the service matches its rating.

Very clean place located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg

Beautiful Place, the Unit is located in the top of the mountain, incredible view. Both rooms have individual kitchen, bathrooms, fireplace. Water Park is open the whole year, heated pools and a lot of activities.

Great family spot. The indoor water park is amazing. There are on-site dining amenities and Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are easy to get to...including Dollywood.

The recently updated resort has every amenity you could ask for. Gorgeous views in all directions. The water park photos don't do it justice. Very close to major attractions, shopping, dining, and much more. The staff at the resort are beyond accomodating and the rooms are gorgeous.

Our entire large family loves this waterpark resort. The beauty of the surroundings makes our stay such a relaxing respite. It is one of our absolute favorite places to vacation together.

We've stayed here many times & love this resort. There are many enjoyable activities both at the resort & in the towns of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg as well as the Smoky Mountain national park.

The location and all facilities are excellent and brand new. The staff goes above and beyond to take care of you. The Water Park is an excellent amenity that the entire family will love. The site location is great for visiting Gatlinburg and surrounding features. And ... the view of the mountains is the best.

Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort is in a great locations. The amenities at this resort are fantastic. Indoor Pool, Outdoor Pool, Onsite water park and many more things to do. Don't need to leave the resort if you don't want to. It has a restaurant, bar, convenience store and next door is a small liquor store.

Great location to relax away from it all yet close enough to enjoy all that downtown Gatlinburg has to offer. The trolley stops at the entrance to the resort. Great restaurant on site, an indoor waterpark and much more to enjoy!

We've been owners at this resort for 20 years. There is so much to do in this area and there is a lot to do within the resort. It is a very good place for a family vacation.

Great Resort to spend your July 4th vacation. Gatlinburg fireworks are spectacular. Resort's amenities include waterpark and mini golf. Infinity pool is cool. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is complete with pots, pans, and utensils. Fireplace is appealing. Enjoy your own place with pools and bears.

Great location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge Tn. Views are amazing.

The staff here treated us like royalty. Always friendly, always helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. We spend our Thanksgiving holiday here each year and it has become our established family tradition. Thanks, Westgate!!

Aug 2021 The cabins and condos are located in the 70 acre Westgate Smokey Mountain Resort. One mile out of Gatlinburg going toward Pigeon Forge which is about 5 miles away. A great place out of all the traffic and crowds, but convenient to surrounding areas. So peaceful and lots of fun. The resort includes gated security, Indoor Wild Bear Falls Water Park and lazy river ( for children and adults) Roaring Fork Snack Bar located in the Water Park. Southern Comfort Restaurant, Market Place (groceries, gift shop and deli), Southern Comfort Lobby Bar, Mountain Top Pool Bar, Infinity pool with large covered area with tables and chairs, and plenty of lounge chairs around the pool, a total of 3 heated pools beside water park on resort, fenced playground area, 9 hole mini golf, Flying Bear Zip line, Smoky Mountain Spa, Work-Out room, and game room. (Daily Activity calendar for your convenience (from making crafts to hikes to moonshine tasting) free shuttle service on site running every 20 minutes, Gas grills and fire pits with seating available for use. Renting for owners get free tickets for the Indoor water park for all in your party (otherwise the tickets are $24.95 per person per day) The mini golf is free and a small charge for the zipline. Pick up area provided for Gatlinburg Trolley and Pigeon Forge Trolley. You don’t have to deal with finding parking and traffic unless you desire. Pets are welcome. Pet Policy: Westgate allows one dog or cat under 60 pounds for each unit. There is a $100 dollar refundable damage fee plus a $175 cleaning fee.

These Grand Units include a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, kitchen linens, dishwasher detergent, liquid soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, a large table and 6 chairs in addition there is a kitchen bar with 2 chairs, a bedroom with 2 queen size beds or one king size bed , large screen TV, desk and chair, jetted hot tub, closet, safe, bed linens, pillows, blankets and a private entrance to deck. 2 bathrooms, with vanity with double sinks, large lighted mirror above, large shower with extra rainfall shower head, commode and bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, toilet paper, tissues, soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer. Living area has a fireplace, a queen size sleeper sofa and a love seat, large screen TV, sofa table, end table and ottoman. There is also a washer and dryer. Each unit has a washer and dryer, no shared laundry. Some have 2 bathrooms. . You can call Housekeeping for sheets and towels, housekeeping does not enter rooms during guest stay secondary to Covid-19 protocols. As owners, we go up to 4 times a year. The condos on top of the mountain overlook Gatlinburg. Great views. Great cabins in the valley as well.

My wife and I have owned in this resort since 2019. As skeptical timeshare observants we chose to educate ourselves in the field of timeshare ownership. To our surprise we found the purchase to be the greatest decision we ever made. Westgate Smokey Mountain Resort & Water Park(recent name change) has been one of the most outstanding places we've ever vacationed from location, service, cleanliness, & sleep comfort.

The location of Westgate Smokey Mountain Resort is sandwiched right between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg making it easily accessible to either location. If your wanting to dine in at Ole Mill Restaurant or walk the strip in Gatlinburg & visit Ober Westgate Smokey Mountain Resort is the perfect location!

Furthermore, the service and staff is top of the line. You'll always be embraced by friendly associates and welcomed by a great concierge. However, the timeshare presentations can be a bit overwhelming and take up more time than you may be willing to invest unless your curious as my wife & I. I do personally suggest that you learn more about the program as it will be worth your while.

The cleanliness of this resort is above and beyond what anyone's expectations would be. As owners we can assure you that we've never had any problems in regard sanitation. The rooms are very well maintained.

Sleep comfort, relaxation, and beautiful scenery is a promise at this resort. However, scenery can vary depending on where your staying. My wife and I own In Building 5000 which makes for an amazing view. However, if you rent units that are lower in the mountain a view might not be what you find as you would in the top of the mountain. You pay for what you get!

Heated outdoor pools are available, the Water Park is an awesome amenity of owners, and the onsite restaurant can cook up some delicious Southern style food. I hope you find this resort to be as accommodating as my family and I!

I have been staying at Westgate Smokey Mountain since 2004. Guest service is always top notch, and the facility is always neat and clean. There is still some construction going on the property since the fire but only in certain locations. Parking is an issue on crowded weeks and the check in process has gotten better in the recent years. The location is perfect to travel to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Suggest using the backroads of 321 to come in due to traffic on check in days. Just tell them you do not want to attend the pressurized sales pitch if you are not interested in buying.

We've been in the "timeshare world" since 1998. This exchange was by far the BEST exchange we've ever had. Our jaws dropped when we first arrived at the Westgate Smoky Mountains. It is so beautiful and breathtaking. The staff always greet you with a smile and/or a friendly wave. The units (we had a stand alone cabin) are so gorgeous. The landscaping is well-maintained and well-lit.

The cons: (yep, even this resort has some flaws) - They charge for internet usage. If you like to be connected to the outside world, make sure you bring your own source. Luckily, we brought our broadband and didn't need Westgate's internet service. Secondly, while they are pet-friendly, they have just recently raised their pet fees. It now costs $100 refundable pet deposit if there are no damage and a $170 NON-REFUNDABLE cleaning fee. Simply ridiculous!! Thirdly, the unit did had some minor maintenance issues. We told them about it so hopefully, this will get fixed before the next person comes in.

The location of the Westgate Smoky Mountains resort is great: Right between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and right next to the Smoky Mountains National Park entrance.

Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to exchange into this resort again. We would just save money in advance for the outrageous pet deposit fees.
