Nestled between the ocean and the sound is Barrier Island Station. Located in the beautiful town of Duck, this resort is walking distance to all shops, restaurants, and boardwalk. The brand new indoor recreation center is complete with indoor pool and game room. The resort activities include tennis, basketball, pickleball, shuffleboard and corn hole area, as well as daily activities for children. The Snack Shack is open each day to purchase lunch, snacks, and refreshing beverages. Our unit overlooks the outdoor pool on one side and the tennis courts on the other and has undergone a full renovation in 2023. The oceanfront is only steps away through the outdoor pool area. It is a 3-bedroom unit with a master bedroom and bathroom on the main floor with kitchen, living room, dining room and two outdoor decks. Located below are two more bedrooms – one with a queen bed and the other with two twins plus a shared bathroom. We love the large indoor entryway to safely keep coolers, water toys, and bicycles without having to bring them in the unit. The washer and dryer is in a separate adjacent room. Barrier Island Station at Duck
Duck, North Carolina
Nestled amid sand dunes and sea oats is Barrier Island Station. One of the northern-most communities on the Outer Banks, Duck offers some of the last remaining unspoiled beachfront on the Eastern seaboard. Both the Atlantic Ocean and the sound present excellent water-sport opportunities. The resort has many amenities, including sailboats, windsurfers, and rafts. When it's time for a change from the oceanfront, you can swim in the outdoor or indoor pools, play a set of tennis, or just relax in the whirlpool, sauna, or steam room.
