Description

There’s a bus that runs between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. It doesn't follow a schedule; it doesn't stop at bus stops. You just stand and wave when you see it. The bus runs every 15 minutes or so. "It just comes when it comes, senor. No worries, senorita."

Of course, you don't need a bus to get around. Your resort is centrally located, just three miles from the quieter of the two Cabos, San Jose del Cabo. With tree-lined boulevards and 18th-century buildings, the town maintains the air of a quaint Mexican village.

Cabo San Lucas is just 20 miles away and has all the activities you'd expect to find at a world-class resort destination—from parasailing to superb sport fishing and a rambunctious nightlife. And don't forget the miles and miles of sandy beaches just begging to be walked.

Back at the resort, you'll find a concierge staff, rental car desk—should you want to forego the bus—an incredible pool complex with a swim-up bar, and, of course, Restaurant Mama Mia with an ocean view and live music nightly. It's the no-hassle destination, full of color and culture, and your resort is muy bueno.

Snorkeling, sunning, swimming, and drinks under the palm trees. You’ll have a great time. No worries.

Very clean and tidy. Boring. No service. Rooms are very very small compared to other resorts

My husband and I just stayed at Coral Baja the last week of January. We loved it!! Stayed here the first time 10 years ago and thought the place would have changed or looked run down but we were pleasantly surprised that it was just a GREAT!! LOVE MAMA MIA's!! Came without the kids this time (they were very disappointed!) and loved the pool and the bar staff!! Will come back again soon!!

We have stayed there twice. We originally loved it. An older but very picturesque property. But on last visit a couple years ago, we were severely disappointed. Management apparently had begun using gray water on the lawns and plants. and it smelled like it. Thank goodness we weren't staying on the ground floor. Previously lush green lawns were now yellow. But for this issue, I would have rated this much higher. Onsite Mama Mia's remains a wonderful must for inexpensive breakfast as well as other meals. Be sure register early for their Friday night festival. Great broiled lobster and well worth the price fixe! The bartenders at the pool bar were wonderful and squeezed their own limes for the margaritas. Zippers, a mile or so up the beach quickly became our favorite haunt, where we learned what truly great tortilla soup was. I suspect that the sale of WorldMark a few years ago has led to this deterioration. We've since sold our WorldMark points. Sorry Coral Baja.
