I want to rent a week from someone on Redweek who doesn't own at the resort but owns elsewhere and will be exchanging for the week. I have read this isn't o.k. through RCI, but it is a Marriott Resort posted through Redweek. The exchanger has told me they will give us a guest certificate with the reservation number on it. I was told the week is held under Interval International, which I don't know what that is, and they will add my name once the reservation is complete.

I am new to Redweek in general so not sure how you go about paying someone anyway for the rental so any information on what is "normal" vs. what is suggested above would be greatly appreciated and whether or not it all seems to be acceptable. Thanks!
