I am informing people to avoid this trap. I am also concerned with DonateYourTimeshare. I applied to them and received a'sorry' not donatable but.....you can contact the company that handles our liquidations. I did and was immediately told that there was a need for my timeshare. I am well versed in scammed because it happened to me ONCE for 400 dollars. I politely listened to the lady telling me what you would want to hear...that they were lined up waiting to buy my condo. At the end she asked if I had any questions. I had 2. First what was this cost...LOL 1699.00 I said oh you can take that after you sell it? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOL OK now for the killer question. I asked her to tell me what state my condo was in as she did have the name because I filled out the request. She came back with 4 locations...2 states which included the one I live in and ....2 others that do not show a location. SCAM TIME because I know for a fact it is only in one state. Any reputable company would know exactly what they are trying to sell if they had HOT buyers. This is a SCAM so do not get caught by it...NEVER pay an amount up front unless you like to burn money. Now I am concerned by the so called 'Donate' sites and how legit it is. What a curse timeshares are. I am concerned that by challenging them they will learn how to fatten the scam and people will get screwed. Pass this around if you'd like.
