I hope that, while waiting to "see what happens", you are also preparing a detailed, chronologiocal, written accounting of events to submit to the Florida AG's office in the event that this "promise" on the phone proves to be just empty background noise. I certainly also hope that a date-specific performance deadline was discussed and identified, so that all parties involved are very clear on their respective expectations.

If you're going to effectively "hit" this entity with a legal action, you would be well advised to be ready and willing to do so while the entity is still actually in business. Unfortunately, these types of outfits often change business names, players and locations quite frequently.
