Fixed vs Floating? (by Patricia S.):

We own 3 timeshares and all are floating... Unless you want to vacation every year at the same time, floating is best.. It allows you to be more flexible with your schedule... Also, we think floating weeks have more value as far as trading it or for resale... The time when a fixed week would be good for example is if you want a July 4th week or a ski week, etc. guaranteed every year at your resort... These prime weeks would also be more costly to buy than an off season week...
