We've owned both a floating and a fixed week. MUCH prefer the fixed week as we had already established a vacation "pattern & preference" anyway for that 2nd week in June at Maui. School is out and most people don't really arrive until mid-end of June for summer vacation. We just pull up and walk in the same unit, the same week every year - no phone calls to the Marriott needed what so ever! Best of all, no "phone reservation" dates to remember to "save" our week by or "jockey" our room location for optimum ocean or sunset views, which was a stressful endeavor for reservations as well as upon our very tired arrival day when we owned a floating. One of the best things, our grown kids always know what week to make their flight plans as that they and their children are always welcomed to join us. NO HASSLES!! ;)
