Question Regarding the Rental of Our Timeshare (by Narek S.):
Hello All,
I'm fairly new to this forum and website, but my family and I have owned a timeshare in Cabo San Lucas for a few years now. Unfortunately, we are unable to head down there this year and as a result I am seeking to rent out our unit. Upon researching the units available at the same resort on here, I have come to see that others with identical rooms are advertising theirs with foreknowledge of what kind of view(s) will be afforded to the renter(s). In my experience of traveling down there with family, this has always varied--depending upon availability at the resort during the time we arrange for our stay. The only thing that is for certain and guaranteed (to my knowledge at least) is the type of room you will be given as stipulated in your contract (i.e., a studio vs. a one bedroom vs. a two bedroom penthouse etc.)
How is it that some of the people who have rental listings are certain that their renter(s) will be given the view that's advertised? Is there a way to have foreknowledge of the exact room you will be given even if you are booking for yourself when you own a timeshare?
Thanks much.
