Quick Question concerning renting timeshare unit

If the person owns a TS that happens to be part of the II system, then there is no problem as II is not involved. IF the person obtained the TS in an exchagne through II, then he/she would be violating II's policy of renting out exchanges.

Well my experience is that the owner has to pay maintenance fee for that week in order to rent the unit, this would mean that a minimum down payment of this amount would be required to start the rental process. I have rented my weeks successfully using this method. I have thought about contracts for dos, and don't; waiver of liability and so on, but haven't had to do that yet. Hope this helps.
