Well, the quarterly statement came and so did the $600 special assessment for the planned renovations. Given that the decision was made at the annual meeting in July, I wish they would have communicated something that large at the time rather than waiting 2 months in the dues statement. I do look forward to the completely new bathrooms and mostly new (not appliances or cupboards) kitchens. The board states that they intend to hold adequate reserves for these planned renovations. Good for them. I hope they stick to their word on this.
