Selling points from my Wyndham timeshare

I am a Wyndham owner and am wondering if other memebers have have any success selling their points using Redweek. My home timeshare is in Pompano Beach Fla, but i bought the timeshare primarily to use at other locations. Please respond if youve had any success selling your Wyndham points here.

If you are talking about selling Club Wyndham points while still retaining the underlying ownership itself, be advised that this practice is no longer even allowed. Wyndham prohibited that practice by policy declaration back in March of 2009 (if I recall the date correctly ---maybe it was March, 2010). The only way now for anyone to temporarily "buy" additional Club Wyndham points to complete a "reservation transaction" is directly from Wyndham itself.

If you are instead talking about selling the entire ownership, be advised that Wyndham has recently instituted another financial impediment to ownership transfers (a change which became effective just a month or so ago). This new obstacle is a transfer fee amount of $299, imposed by Wyndham just to acknowledge and process any change in ownership.

It is not uncommon these days to see Wyndham Points ownerships of 154-182k (or more) annual points being offered FOR FREE (see http://www.tug2.net on any given day, as just ONE place with many such offerings). Even when "Free" however, SOMEONE is still going to have to fork over $299 to Wyndham in order for Wyndham to even process and acknowledge the associated change in ownership.
