searching for a rental week

Aug 17, 2013

Is there a way to search rentals by general location and available week? For example if I wanted to search for a rental for week 52 in the greater Orlando area is there a way to do this on Redweek or would I have to scroll through every resort and see if there are December weeks for rent and then scroll through that listing for the week I am looking for?

As far as I know, unless you know the resort you're looking for, you have to search as you noted above since the Orlando area has more timeshare resorts percapita than anywhere else in the entire world.

Perhaps Redweek could include a feature where you could search for specific times (such as week 52) at specific locations (such as Orlando). You might email them this suggestion .... it's a good one.

Hi,

There actually is a way to refine your search criteria on RedWeek. Please go to our home page, then click on the "Show dates, beds, etc." just under the search form on the right side of the page -- directly under the orange "Find a Timeshare" button.

The link will expand the search options to include a date range, # sleeps, # of bedrooms, etc. While our advanced search function does not accommodate searches by week number, you can determine the date range for a week number by referencing our timeshare calendar at:

Thanks. I would never have found it without the detailed instructions. I still had to page through all the rentals at each resort to find the week but at least I only had to scroll through 23 instead of the 50 + resorts in the ares.
