Transferring Ownership

Feb 14, 2017

My Mom passed away a few years ago and she had a Marriott Ko Olina timeshare which we went to and loved but we want to sell it. It is in her name and my attorney here in California says he can't get it into my name because it is in Hawaii and he doesn't practice law there. I don't want to spend a fortune trying to get it changed to my name. Does anyone have experience with this or advice? I called Marriott and they won't help, they are backlogged with families trying to sell their timeshares back to them. Thanks!
