Has this resort been updated lately? What is the difference between the Villages and Resort?

Sheraton Vistana Villages cycles their updates roughly every four years, and two of the buildings - Amelia and St. Augustine - have recently undergone refreshes. The Villages are slightly more modern, and include elevators as well as larger pools. However, the Resort does have mini golf while the Villages do not.

The Amelia area is new

The location on International Drive is a MUCH better location than the other. It's confusing and I've booked the wrong one before and was disappointed at the other location as I thought I'd be near the shops and restaurants on International Drive.
