Maui Ocean Beach Resort

Wondering if you may have any update as to the re-opening of this resort? The last message I read on the their page was that they had closed till 9/30/23. With the Governor discouraging non-essential travel through 10/17/23 and my check in date of 10/1/23 approaching I was hoping for an update as I haven't even dealt with the airline yet. When I reach out to Marriott they seem very confused even by the question. I apologize if this is not the place to ask the question, but as I purchased my 2 weeks from this site I thought maybe RedWeek maybe have some current information. I wouldn't know what I would do if I flew to Maui from Massachusetts to be turned away because the resort wasn't accepting guests. I appreciate whatever advice you could provide. Thank you.
