Very sad that Redweek will not let owners advertise to rent as a self renting service which they still do for selling weeks.

The new changes at RedWeek for timeshare rentals will make it very difficult for owners to rent their timeshare weeks that they can not use for family and friends. We must use the Full Service Redweek rental service and there are many limitations.

Redweek, please allow owners to rent their own weeks and charge a legal fee with a limit of liability form for Redweek.

I tried to list a week of mine to rent using the full service and there are many new rules. 1. The listing will not be accepted if less than 21 days before the rental date. 2. The ad is removed if not rented within 10 days of the rental start date. No refund. Today is 9/29/2025 and I have a week starting on 10/10/2025 that we can not use. Redweek will not let me list the week. Ouch!

Yes, horribly sad and REDWEEK doesn't even monitor this forum since people are posting unrelated ads about BITCOIN and other junk. We just have to show them our disgust by exiting their platform. Jay, what you mention above is a travesty -- there are often locals that would be willing to take a last minute rental for a deeply reduced rate.

Redweek is CLEARLY unable to handle last minute changes and fearful that can't put through a last minute rental so instead of giving owners back that option, they just deleted it altogether. What a shoddy business model.

You can always try Craigslist, but it's localized. I'm hearing about Tug2 and there are sites out of Florida and Utah that rent weeks out for owners as a way to resell timeshares. For Maui VRBO is too complicated but it may work for your location.

Koala is coming up on my search but they also are full service and need to verify so won't work for a quick turnaround.

Yes I am a local and look for last minute stay cays in Orlando We are retired and have friends and family come from ny to visit us in Florida and look for last minute extra space. Wish I had the old Redweek back again to grab those last minute use it or loose it getaways I’ve had to post some of my getaways on the site at a loss if my in-laws had to cancel and I could redeposit a getaway Something was better than nothing!
