Question on a Resale being Redweek Verified

Jan 12, 2026

I inquired on the ad R1361371, for a resale timeshare at a resort which I own at. I haven't gotten a response in 2 months. It is a Full Service, Redweek verified ad. But the ad has obvious error in the Room Type and Unit Number, says Studio and Unit 2040, but I own at that resort and the smallest room is a 2 Bedroom and the Unit numbers are 3 digits. If a resale ad is Redweek Verified, doesn't that mean that the Room Type and Unit number should be accurate too?

I seen this inaccurate ad on Fidelity Real Estate's website, and that Business seemed like a Scam to me. I inquired on their website, got a quote with Closing fees, then couple weeks later got an email that raised the Closing Estimate by several hundred dollars when it was time to sign documents and pay, I cancelled that, and they put a bunch of listings on here in the last 2 months and I inquired on several of those ads and they never answered, this R1361371 is one of them, which I suspect is from Fidelity Real Estate in Florida. Matching 2040 Unit numbers and Reference numbers match on both their Website ad and the Redweek ad.

Thanks.

You may want to contact RedWeek staff directly using the “contact us” button easily found at the bottom of these pages. Posting a message in these discussion forums may be missed and not actually seen and properly investigated. Just a suggestion…

P.S. Fidelity Real Estate is a timeshare resale entity that has been around for years. That said, in my own limited experience and personal opinion after previously looking into some listings for Key West timeshares, their pricing is often absurdly high and their attention to detail and accuracy in listings is sometimes “lacking”. RedWeek also obviously shares responsibility if they have published “verified” listings with factually inaccurate descriptions or unit details, for which there is certainly no excuse.
