Good location but hotel flooded first day we were
there. Rooms were dark and moldy. We had
sneezing attacks the whole time we were there. The
Beds are not very comfy. The lobby is too small with
nowhere to sit down. The "swimming pool" in the
back courtyard looks like someone poured lots of
detergent powder in it - that's how cloudy the water
was. Also, this "pool" was about the size of a large
jacuzzi. Two strokes and you've reached the other
side! The courtyard itself was attractive
notwithstanding the feeling that you were melting in
the damp and heavy heat a la Heart of Darkness.
Their timeshare presentations were on second floor
(good thing because the ground floor was knee deep
in flood water). We were promised a swamp tour if
we did the timeshare presentation, which we did but
when we did not buy the timeshare, the rep refused
to give the swamp tour to us, saying that it was only
for people who had never bought a timeshare before
and we already owned one (elsewhere).
They were pushing the Dophin's Cove in Anaheim, Ca
as a great resort they own. Unfortunately for them, I
had been there and it is far from being a "resort."
More like an apartment complex. Please! In a
nutshell - I do not recommend the timeshare
presentation. They are very, very agressive - they
kept us over 3 hours and then they reniged on the
bait, saying it was a misunderstanding.
Hairdresser in hotel is very, very expensive - go to
beauty shop across the street instead.
