  • Park Avenue Condominiums is conveniently located close to all that Park City has to offer. Skiing is as close as two blocks away. Park West, Park City, and Deer Valley ski areas offer facilities with more than 20 chairlifts, in addition to the West's longest four-passenger gondola. The mountains have more than 100 designated trails, bowl areas, and slopes with a summit of 10,000 feet. In summer, enjoy golfing, hiking, fishing, and horseback riding. There are four lakes within 20 miles of the resort, providing opportunities for a variety of water sports.

Each tastefully appointed unit provides fully equipped kitchens, TV, VCR, and fireplaces. The complex has a common area for relaxion in the heated outdoor pool and large Jacuzzi.

Nearby, guests enjoy fine dining and quaint shops, as well as the natural scenic beauty of the area.

Great location. You can ski to this from the Park City resort. Great pool and hot tub. Condo was large two story with lots of storage for gear. Kitchen was great and it is right across street from grocery store.

We stayed at Park Avenue the last week in January 2009. The condo was a two bedroom and had all the amenities that we wanted. The location was great, we only had to walk out to the street and step onto the shuttle bus to Deer Valley. Main Street is less than one block away!

My husband and I stayed in Park City at the Park Avenue Condominiums in June /02.  We stayed in one of 10 condos operated by an outfit called Resortex.  They are only open for two hours on Saturday afternoon for registration, but the mechanisms for registering late and getting your keys seemed very straightforward.

We arrived during office hours and found the manager to be a very friendly and helpful person.  She had brochures about Park City and gave us a good quality t-shirt for our son (who collects t-shirts from all the places that we don't take him to).  The office was easy to find and just across the street from the resort.

We stayed in a condo with a patio that faced Park Ave., which is a very busy street, and I was disappointed that we were so close to the road, when the other half of the condos face onto the municipal golf course.  But the placement of trees made our patio actually quite private, and the street noise did not turn out to be a problem.  We stayed in a very roomy one-bedroom condo with covered parking.  The ceilings in the living room and the upstairs bedroom were vaulted and the total height of the wall going up the stairs was over 20 feet, giving a very spacious feel to the unit.  Also, the bedroom windows faced the back of the complex so that the road noise had no impact on our sleep.  The unit had a Murphy bed that could make the dining area into a second bedroom with a privacy accordion curtain.

There was an eating bar in the very large and well-laid out kitchen, and an ingenious table that could be wheeled out and set up in the dining area and put away again if the second bedroom was being used.  The living room was also large enough to accommodate the table if the second bedroom remained set up.  The kitchen was great, and we ended up cooking almost all our meals there, we ate out only once, for lunch!  Having a 24-hour Albertson?s grocery store across the street also helped with our decision to do so much cooking.

The resort has a small heated pool and two hot tubs, as well as single-sex saunas located in the change rooms.  The resort office is located by the pool, and the staff were also very helpful even though they had no connection to Resortex.  The golf course is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and with a couple of ponds with migratory birds enjoying the respite on their trip north.  We had a car with us but walked almost everywhere; Park City is small and compact, with a delightful "old town", municipal park, and tourist amenities close by.  There is also a beautiful and well-managed municipal library with free Internet access.

There are no resort activities organized by Resortex, the town and surrounding mountains and forests provide enough activities.  The resort is geared for people who are looking for a spacious and relaxing location to enjoy the outdoors as only Utah can offer.  As a PS for shoppers, Park City has a Factory Outlet mall with the best bargains I have seen in a long time.
