We spent the week between christmas and New year here. It was great. The two bedroom lockout was perfect for 2 families traveling together. The facility is nice. Not flashy but I was impressed with the rooms. Wifi is included but the service was sometimes slow and positional dependent. It is a small inconvenience to use the buses to get up to the mountain but the cost is much better than mountainside.

The bus to the grocery is pretty much on time. There is a car rental place at the Christy lodge across the street if interested. I would definitely go to this place again if traveling to Beaver Creek. Fifth star lost because of towels at the upstair spa were not always available. The sauna did not work while we were there. Staff was helpful. Wish they had a shuttle of their own. Still a strong recommendation.

We stayed here in a one-bedroom villa in August 2009. The "villa" was significantly below our expectations based on other Starwood properties we have seen of comparable options value. The rooms are very small, with only basic amenities -- feels like you are in a Holiday Inn. Only one basic shower, no jacuzzi. Bed was very uncomfortable, bed sheets felt like they had been in use for a very long time. Two old fashioned TV sets, small and dirty balcony with birds poop all over. Carpet in the room was stained everywhere, totally disgusting to stand on. Floors in the bathroom were good though :)

Most disapoointing was that there was no central air conditioning!! it was quite hot outside, all windows were open and a very noisy and quite useless portable AC was installed in the living room, which we would not use because of the "helicopter take-off" noise it generated.

I can not believe this place rents for $500 a night on redweek.com, absolutely incredible. I certainly would not recommend it to anyone, looking for a high quality accomodation. I think a good Holiday Inn is much better value compared to this disaster. Did I mention -- long distance phone calls were $5.75/min and local 81 cents/min !!

Great resort! We have stayed here the past two years & if my husband hadn't injured his knee we would be going back this year!

The rooms are beautifully decorated & maintained . We have been in Jan '06 & Feb '04 & we had no problems with the underground parking, we have always found a spot just fine.

We have always taken another couple & the smaller unit has fit 4 adults comfortably. The unit is listed with only one full bath but the master bedroom has a tub & oversized mirror so everyone can get ready in the morning without delays.

We love both Vail & Beaver Creek so staying in Avon has made the most sense for us. We snowboard / ski Beaver Creek & then head over to Vail for the nightlife.

We had enjoyed our time at this hotel & will be back next year!

A nice place, but not five stars in my book. Stayed here for two nights on a promotion/timeshare sales presentation. Rooms were nicely decorated and furnished. Lots of little things weren't quite right or were downright irritating: front desk staff couldn't keep up with the amount of people there...always a wait in person or on the phone. Elevators likewise crowded--they only have two for the entire building. Salesman was somewhat confrontational and gave innacurate information (I won't say he lied, but...). Room temperature hard to control, it was hot even on a very cold day. One tv remote was missing, remote for cd player didn't work, alarm clock and light didn't work because electrical outlet didn't work, parking garage got full and we couldn't find a spot. I asked them at the desk if they could either move some of the junk they had stored in a parking slot, or track down those who had parked in two spaces, but they wouldn't. So, nice potential, but they need to work out a lot of kinks.

Stayed here for 8 nites in late july 2004. Overall a very positive experience. Facilities are immaculate, new, with thoughtful touches such as electric blender, floor fan, and game table (checkers/backgammon)/dinner table combo. Staff is very friendly, cleaning service very efficient. Spas-2 outside, and one inside are great. Large pool. 1br unit we had was smaller one bedroom and living area a bit small. nice view of beaver creek mountains.

Negatives: Lots of kids!!! (which is great for families) but they should add some adult pool and spa times. Parking under building was full every nite and we had to park on street or other areas that we had to ask about. Staff and SVN concierge had limited knowledge about area, but regular concierge was somewhat helpful. Their advice contradicted one another....but the area is great for biking, hiking, shopping, river sports...rafting a must. You will be on the freeway between Avon and Edwards to the west, and vail to the east, a lot, but it is very convenient. Room can be stuffy during the day, we definately needed and used the fans.

We stayed here for a few days and stayed in the small one bedroom. It was great!!! The room was very clean and all electric items worked great and were in good condition. The dishes were true Fiesta Brand and the silverware was of good quality.

The unit features: A small one bedroom that can sleep 4 people, two in the bedroom and 2 on the fold out couch. There is a balcony that had a small table and a natural gas BBQ. There was a fireplace in the living-room and a cd/radio. The TV was a 27 inch and they had a VCR. In the bedroom there was a queen size bed and another 27 inch TV. The unit had a washer and dryer, but no soap for it. The bathroom was large with one sink and a Jacussi tub. Compared to other timeshares, some might think that the unit was small. But there were many mirrors to help keep it feeling larger.

The Kitchen features: Not much here to discuss, this is not a full size kitchen. There was a small sink and a medium size refrigerator. There was a small dishwasher as well. There were enough plates to serve four people, but they are high quality dishes, Fiesta Brand. The Anchor Hocking glasses were nice. We are looking to buy some for our house. They had iced-tea size and juice size as well as wine glasses. There was the nice addition of a rubbermade pitcher, great for making juice.

Resort amenities: The resort is in the town on Avon. Right at the base of Beaver Creek. Getting to Beaver Creek is very easy, you can ride the bus right outside the timeshare or drive less than a mile to the Beaver Creek parking area. The resort has underground parking and stays warm even in the winter. At the time of our visit, the pool was closed, and Sheraton is adding another tower. There was some construction but wasn't really noticable. They did offer passes to the Avon Rec Center, with a water slide, indoor pool and fitness area. The fitness area at the resort on the 7th floor was great, there are several treadmills, bicyles and weight machines. On the 7th floor are two spas, one outside and one inside. On a side note it was nice to see that this resort is fully accesible to disabled persons, the spas had lifts for people in wheelchairs. It's just nice that they added that for those people who need it. Anyway, the front desk people were great, and were very knoledgeable. There were different things going on in the week. Monday was an owner meeting. Tuesday was massage day Wed was free popcorn with a movie rental night thursday was movie night in the theater, they played Lilo & Stitch Friday, we were there on Friday so I can't remember that one.

I would rate this resort a 5 star, due to it's cleanliness and helpfull staff. As well as proximity to Vail and Beaver Creek. Other things that help the perfect rating, no unwanted telephone calls and the underground parking. The Elevators are very fast and the discount restraunt program for 10-30% off the areas restraunts.
