Excellent resort. Flying in or out use the Ko Olina Airport Lounge - free to anyone staying at Marriott Ko Olina Resort. Must make a reservation to use.

This is a gem. Quiet resort out of the hustle of Waikiki. Great pools and we love the lagoons that knock down the surf to be able to snorkel and play with the younger ones safely. Resort activities are great including the Mermaid visit.

BIG NIGHTMARE -- long review yet reading may save your life (I know it sounds melodramatic yet you will soon see it may not be!)

The resort was gorgeous and the rooms were spacious and lovely. The problem was that the pool area with waterfalls by Bldg 3 are notorious for causing falls and I was only one of the victims!

While waiting for our room to be readied, my family went to the pool area, as the grandchildren wanted to swim. Unbeknownst to me, my daughter-in-law slipped on the smooth slate pavers before she got to me, yet my son was able to catch her before she hit the stone surface. My 6 year old granddaughter also fell on the slick surface, not once, but twice!!! I had navigated to the chair by the pool without incident earlier, yet when I got up to join my family in the chairs behind me, I felt like my legs were swept from under me -- as if I was on an ice-skating rink -- and I fell down VERY hard, hitting my head in the process! My family rushed over to me, seeing the whole incident and helped me up. My right knee was bent forcing my ankle and lower leg to be pinned under me; my left wrist was throbbing with pain, apparently in my attempt to catch myself. A waitress came over to see if I was OK and sent a Safety Rep to fill out an incident report, which the many witnesses augmented with their view of the accident.

Believing I only had sprains, I immediately stopped by the front desk on the way to my room to ice my sprains and raise my leg and reported that my daughter, grandchild and myself had fallen on this very slippery area and they needed to put a sign up -- they had a few up around the hotel yet none at the most dangerous spot.

I could write a short story re: what happened next yet suffice it to say that I warned everyone I saw over the next 5 days to watch the area by this pool and went down to the front desks at least 4 times to report that others told me they had either slipped themselves or watched others slip -- one a little boy. All in all there were 7 guests during 5 days who had reported falling/or witnessing a fall to me by the time I left the resort 6 days later. Nothing was done! I spent my vacation in my room with leg elevated with ice packs on my wrist and ankle -- a Netflix marathon!

As I was not improving, 4 days after the injury, I went to the front desk and the clerk said they had no first aide at the hotel and texted me a list of urgent care centers. I spent the next 5 hours with my husband at her recommended one before learning I had a broken wrist and avulsion ankle fracture The clerk apparently mentioned her referral to Safety because the next evening he showed up at my door saying no incident report was on file (yet later found the original which only stated I fell) and he yelled at me for going to urgent care without notifying him. I told him I went to the front desk. When asked why the hotel had failed to take steps to stop the falls, he replied they couldn't --"It is our busy season." He also made me prove that I got the list of urgent care from the desk by demanding I forward the text to him.

NOW I am ANGRY! From their lack of action, they apparently don't care about people falling near the pool and were made aware of the danger several times by me alone!!! They are obviously not going to do anything about it unless the victims band together and sue them, making an impact on them! If you fell at this resort by the pool with the waterfalls, please contact me with dates and an email. I will forward to an attorney to handle. Someone could easily hit their head resulting in death, if they haven't already.

Marriott has tangled with the wrong person, despite my Sr Citizen age. Our absolute favorite resort in Hawaii. Owners for 16 years. Our entire family loves it more every time we are able to visit! Breathtaking & beautiful grounds, rooms, views and beaches!

At the end of Highway 1, away from the congestion of Waikiki, quiet resort with full amenities, restaurants, 3 pools and bbq grills throughout the property, including poolside. Order groceries to be delivered or shop for yourself 1 exit up the highway. Direct beach access with calm lagoon ocean coves. Walking distance to Paradise Cove Luau.

Wonderful place in Paradise! Enjoy every second of this beautiful area.

It is one of the best Marriott resorts, with direct access to beautiful beach and impressive Swimming Pool. Near several local restaurants, and within an easy drive to other beaches around Honolulu.

Best of all the Marriott vacation clubs ! Fun lagoons for the kids, activities and beautiful lobby and rooms. Always love going to koolina.

We are among the first 700 owners, our name is on the commemorative sculpture . We have thoroughly enjoyed visiting our timeshares, sharing their numerous amenities with our family and friends. The private beaches are always welcoming and the grounds are immaculate. Friendly helpful staff are there whenever needed. We would recommend this timeshare to anyone!

Beautiful resort, located away from all the busy tourist attractions. It has all the amenities, you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation.

The lagoons and walking trails are beautifully landscaped and kept clean. The resort offers so many activities, Including: arts and crafts, exercise and yoga classes, children play areas. There are 4 pools, there is even an adults only pool.

Costco is a hop and a skip away, as are amazing restaurants all in Kapolei town.

There is valet, but parking is free.

Such a beautiful beach and wonderful resort. Away from the craziness of Waikiki, such a great spot.

This resort is a family favorite!! Have fun playing in the pools, snorkeling off the beach, doing crafts, attending the luau, browsing vendors, looking at the stars, etc. Walking distance to Aulani for a Disney meal (with advance reservations) and very close to a village of restaurants with multiple delicious options. A water park nearby. Highly recommend the excursion to the Pearl Harbor memorial.

We have been owners at KoOlina for 20 years and absolutely love this resort. Beautiful grounds, and well appointed rooms. Stunning sunsets off your balcony each night! The beach is calm and perfect for small children.

Awesome Penthouse Unit Sleeps 8. Tall ceiling great views. Great service at pools and overall clean throughout resort.

Timeshare owners (deed, not points) for over 15 years - we love Ko Olina! By calling early, we're able to get an Ocean View corner room in the Kona Tower, quieter and just steps away from the entire resort!

Beautiful and luxurious resort in an idyllic location in the Northwest corner of Oahu. Beautiful lagoons to snorkel in alive with tropical fish. Resort has everything you could ask for. Gorgeous accommodations, multiple pools, surrounded by lush gardens and the sunsets every night. Lots of activities for kids, and a separate adult pool area. It is near a quaint village with shops and restaurants or drive to the town of Kapolei. Not too far from the North Shore or Honolulu, but far enough to be in paradise.
