This rental is an ocean front view on North Myrtle Beach, SC 2 BR deluxe

My family has vacationed here numerous times. The rooms are clean and modern. The resort has a many onsite amenities. The beach is fantastic. Good sand and slope. There is a lot to do for all ages.

It is, as usual, a fantastic Wyndham Resort.

I am a little late with the Review we were there over Labor Day Weekend

Situated on Ocean Blvd within walking distance of Main St, North Myrtle Beach. Four fourteen floor towers, three on beach the other across the street. Each beach tower only has two parking levels and parking was very limited. Most of the time I had to park across the street where there was four parking levels and plenty of room. Our room was a two bedroom. Each had a bathroom. Master had a king bed, the other had two double beds. While the guest bathroom had a tub with shower it also had a door for privacy. No so the the master bathroom. The jacuzzi tub, show and sink were an open floor plan with the bedroom. Only the toilet had a door. Want bathroom privacy then ask have everyone leave the master bedroom and lock the bedroom door. Living room had a full sized sleeper sofa. Apartment sized washer and dryer. Full, well equip kitchen with nice sized pantry for storage. I am surprised, given the size of this resort that there are only three outdoor pools - two on the beach side and one across the street. There is a small indoor pool in tower 1 as well as a small exercise room. No convenient store, just vending machines about every third floor. There is a small restaurant in Tower 2 but, in my opinion, it did not have much to offer. You are better off walking down the street as there is a diner and a few restaurants near or on Main St. Elevators were very slow. I was not happy with the wifi. Wifi is free for up to two devices. Over two it cost you $3.00 per day for each additional device. At check-in you are given an access code for the wifi. Upon logging in you are asked to select the number of devices and the number of days you will be using the wifi. Based upon that information, if above the two free devices, you have to pay the calculated balance via credit card. Wifi was slow so don't expect fast wifi just because you paid extra. Some advice - checkin is very busy on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and it can be very difficult to find a place to park if you are checking in for the towers on the beach (toweres 1, 2 and 3). Almost positive that you will not be allowed to get into your room before scheduled checkin time. Therefore I recommend getting there as early as possible, park, get through the checkin process as they will call you once your room is available and take a walk down the street. The food at the Hot Diggity Diner just down the street is very good. If you know you will be staying in Tower 4, the one across the street, then do not bother with the beach side towers as Tower 4 has it's own checkin desk.

This is one of our favorite Wyndham resorts. We've stayed at Wyndham Ocean Boulevard many times and at different times of the year. We love the location. It's walking distance to restaurants and tourist shops. Shopping, entertainment, golf are all nearby. Not far from grocery stores and churches. The beach in North Myrtle isn't as crowded as in Myrtle Beach.

The Resort is kept very clean at all times, the staff is patient and always prepared to help in any situation, and the beds are great. Maintenance is very diligent and quick to take care of any problem (no matter how small). If you plan a gourmet meal for 10 people and need more dishes, pots, etc or if you need something to cook with and it's not in the unit, maintenance will take care you. The pools are great and plentiful. My favorites are the infinity pool and the lazy river. Parking can be a challenge at the main towers during peak season but Tower 4 has plenty of space for overflow. I highly recommend this resort all year long.

We just completed a vacation in adjacent 2 bedroom units in Tower 3. Both units, recently redecorated, were spotless, had excellent pool and ocean views from balconies and bedroom windows, and were well supplied with all kitchen utensils, linens, and bath and beach towels. All pools and hot tubs were cleaned daily and were in good working order. Beds were comfortable and well appointed.

Front desk personnel greeted us as if we were old friends and the concierge helped us get good tickets to an excellent show, The One Show, in the Alabama Theatre. We couldn't ask for better service.

We will certainly return to Ocean Boulevard in 2012.

Just returned from a week in a 2BR deluxe in Tower 3 in mid June. Nice layout, good separation of bedroooms and plenty of space. Everything in the unit was essentially as good as new and it was very well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Unit was very clean. It is great for us to be right on the beach in Tower 3 so everyone could come and go at thier leisure. It you care about being on the beach and NOT having to cross the street be very careful when you make reservations. It appears that "deluxe" 2 BR are in beach towers, 2 BR are across the street in Tower 4. Most RCI exchanges automatically go to Tower 4. We did notice long check-in lines and elevator waits on Saturday and some on Sunday due to a high volume. Also had elevator waits in our tower in the mornings and at dinner time. We gave up parking in Towers 1,2, 3 and just parked in the lot a block away. We also need to pay to park out trailer at a rental facility - Wyndham would not accomodate us on site. My only complaints are to the architect who designed two beautiful pools that only get sun from 10am until 2pm even during the longest days of the summer. He also left no room for an outsude snack bar or in pool bar (like at Seawatch). They should at least offer waitered drink service from the snack bar to the pools. Who wants to sit inside waiting for food and drinks to be prepared?

We had two 2-br deluxe units in tower 1 -- lower floors have great ocean views and perfect for three families to share a week's vacation. 6 adults and 5 kids fit nicely into the space. A bit tight for dinner - but overall an excellent vacation.

The resort has many amenities -- pools, exercise room, indoor an outdoor pools. Tower 1,2,3 pools are shaded in the afternoons - a good way to get out of the hot sun for a while. Tower 4 gets sun most of the day.

Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Staff service is excellent and prompt. Parking is the only short coming in Tower 1,2,3 - especially if you have a roof top carrier on your car -- ceiling height is limited by piping hanging down from the ceiling.

We have been to WOB four times -- love both the cottages and the Towers -- a great vacation location. Towers 1,2,3 are more convenient to the beach if you have kids with you.

Just returned from a week in a 3 bedroom in Bldg 4, across the street from the beach. Had the top floor w/great views of lights, arcade area of Main Street, and plenty of the ocean. Additional lights and street activity just added to it all. Location is fantastic, just a block or so down from the old-fashioned Main street, just a few blocks from Highway 17, with ample grocery stores in between. Drive north on Ocean Blvd to Cherry Grove, where Boulineau's grocery store is at Sea Mountain Highway and is a lot more than just a grocery store.

In Building 4, there are 3 elevators, and we never had a long wait at any time. If you are on a high floor in that building, the view as soon as you get off the elevator is breathtaking.

The 3-bedroom was great. Good separation of bedrooms, with one on the right of the entry with a King Bed, another on the left with two Full beds. A bathroom for these rooms was directly to the left as you entered. This unit did not have a tub, but rather a tub-sized shower in the "guest bath" that had no real ledge to keep water from spilling onto the bathroom floor. Master Bedroom, separated from the 2-beds bedroom by its large bathroom, did have a two-man jaccuzi tub and a small shower. All, more than adequate. Beds were comfortable.

Kitchen was fine. Appliances a little outdated, but worked well. Plenty of utensils, etc., for cooking. Living area also nice with couch and three other chairs. Nothing very comfortable, but OK for the time you would likely be spending there. Dining area - round table with 8 chairs, and two barstools at the kitchen bar, to accommodate all if you were actually to have the 10 people this 3-bedroom unit is supposed to be able to sleep (with two on the pull-out sofa).

For a unit accommodating 10, I was disappointed in the size and furnishings of the balcony. It looked even smaller than those for the 1 & 2 bedroom units and had no dining height table. There were two plastic chairs and one small stool-sized table. This worked fine when it was just me and my guy, but was inadequate when others arrived a few days later. I asked for extra chairs from the front desk, and arrived at my room later to see that one had been brought up. I would have preferred a few more - there IS room - but we took chairs from the dining room out and that worked OK. But still - a balcony for 10 should be larger than a balcony for 2 - and should have more chairs, at the very least.

The pool area for Building 4 is huge and gets sun from 8:00 a.m. till after 4:00 p.m. - a lot more than the two across the street, which are shaded by the buildings. There are pretty potted palms that rustle in the breeze.

The beach across the street was easy to get to, despite crossing the street, which, especially on this particular time frame - Memorial Day weekend AND bikefest - was busy at times. The beach was great and the waves drown out a lot of the traffic noise. another.

I will probably choose a smaller place next time I am in the Mytle Beach area, but for what it is, Wyndham OB was great. The rooms were clean, comfy, and had everything you needed for a nice week's stay.

We have stayed there twice now for our summer vacations and we have enjoyed this resort so much we are going back this summer too. We chose Tower 2 ocean view so we do not have to cross a street to get to the ocean. There are 2 Lazy rivers to enjoy. We go down the elevator to the first floor walk about 100 steps and there is the beach to enjoy for the day. The resort is very comfortable and just a nice place to call home for our summer vacation. The employees there make the stay a joy.

Spent a week here in July,2008 in a three bedroom with another family...total 2 couples & 5 kids. (3 teenagers, 2 -5th graders)All had a great time!

Hi, we were in Tower 4 in mid August 2007. We were very happy, as usual there were minor maintenance issues which were promptly handled. We had only adults with us. We would not reccommend Tower 4 if you have small children, because you would have to cross a busy street each time to get to the beach or activities at the other Towers. If you have small children, I would suggest any Tower other than 4. It is not the best resort that we have visited, but it is very good. The Tower 4, 2 br. which we occupied was a bit narrow in the kitchen, dining room and living room area. The bedrooms were more than adequate. Only the busy street kept me from giving this 5 stars. Stan.

20 Aug 2007 Just returned from "FMB at OB " with nothing but good things to report. Our family group of 5 adults and one 7 y/o had a three BR 9th floor unit in Tower One with ocean view. Perfect. Beach access superb. Pools never overcrowded. Despite a high occupancy week, elevators were adequate. We had three vehicles and always were able to find a parking space. Staff from check-in to check-out were friendly, helpful and available. Trash pickup (not a glamorous subject, but essential) from outside the unit door was timely. Personal supplies in the unit were more abundant; towels were everywhere (including "beach" towels.) The beach itself is superb whether at high or low tide or between. North Myrtle Beach is comfortable and the traffic very tolerable. The busier areas of off-beach entertainment and eating to the south of the resort are easily accessible via US 17 just a few blocks to the west. The amenities listed in the resort description are well maintained and as "advertised". In fact, maintenance in general is quite good (a challenge in a large, spread-out resort plan as this one is.) All of our group said,"Bravo" in response to the question "What did you think of this week and this resort?" We will definitely return. Incidentally, the pictures of the resort shown on this page at the time of posting are dated in that they don't show the new buildings across the street right on the beach itself.

This is a beautiful resort. The amenities were fabulous. Everything is so new and there is something for every age. Our children especially enjoyed the pools, activities and gameroom. You are also in walking distance to a lovely park. I would highly recommend this resort.

I stayed during Bikeweek '06 May in a 2 bedroom condo located on the 8th floor( what a view). Staff was helpful in every way can't wait to return with my wife and kids. They are buliding Two new towers across the street right on the beach. Parking is great(within the complex) and the pools are refreshing. There are shops in walking distance alonge with the beach(across the street). Places to eat is all along the main strip and the food is WONDERFUL. My kids and wife is gonna love it here......trust me

Great location. Upkeep is excellent.

Stayed in the new tower, had a wonderful view off our balcony. Rooms were spacious and decorated beautiful.

Will have the next tower open and plan to go back next March-April.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful, as a vip owner was treated like royalty.

Wonderful location with easy access to the beach. The onsite and offsite activities were great for the kids. After the beach, the river boat fishing trip was the highlight of the week!

The condo was nice and spacious. The only problem is there is a lot of construction across the street. Two more buildings are being built. Need more elevators also. Quite busy and had to always wait for the elevators.

We went to this resort when it was only 34 weeks old. We stayed in a 2br,2Ba full kitchen and patio. we stayed on the first floor which was nice since we were at the pool level. the

were great for our large family and we would

go again

This is a great new Fairfield resort, just steps from the Beach. Rooms are great.
