Our favorite "Home away from home"! Original owners - bought when Hales 1- 4 were completed and Hales 5-8 were just starting to be built.

We own at several Marriott Hawaii resorts and the Waiohai Beach Club is one of our favorites. Everything on the island of Kauai just feels more relaxed and tranquil compared to Maui and Oahu. Great place to unwind and recharge.

We’ve been going to the Waiohai since it first opened and we love it. Grounds are beautiful. It’s right on the beach and the Honu Bar is a lovely place to people watch or just watch and enjoy the ocean. Bartenders there are the best ever, as is the entire staff. Very clean and we almost always get the Hale that we ask for.

We love this resort. The staff and accommodations are outstanding. It is our destination of choice when we visit Hawaii.

Awesome resort on Poipu Beach with great snorkeling and beautiful surroundings. Kauai is a lush paradise.

The Resort is our paradise. The Island view rooms have lush colorful landscaped foliage views, and sometimes a sliver of ocean can be seen from the balcony. We have stayed with 3 generations, and also as couples. It has active locations and quiet areas. The grills are clean and well located throughout the property. The children's outdoor play area is nicely nestled. The Resort offers daily activities for all ages. The staff is very accommodating and responsive. Lunch at the Honu beachfront Bar is fun with live entertainment later in the afternoon. The location is perfect for easy access to all restaurants, shopping, golf and activities. Wonderful memories for all.

We have enjoyed staying at the Waiohai for almost 30 years with our family (children and grandchildren), returning almost every year. The accommodations are beautifully appointed (with very recent upgrades to the furnishings, etc.), immaculately maintained, with awesome Poipu Beach just steps away from your lodgings.

It is our favorite resort on Kauai. It is very family friendly with a wonderful beach. There are beautiful grounds and activities.

Very few resorts sit on one the top beaches in the world. The Waiohai does! Beautiful Poipu Beach is only steps away. The units are spacious and well appointed. With a king bed in both bedrooms and two very comfortable pull out sofas. It can sleep 8.

Our favorite place to vacation! We love the casualness of the resort and the location is ideal. The beach is so perfect day and night. The villa is very roomy and ideal for a family or getaway with friends.

We have spent many magical days at Waiohai! The resort is perfectly situated in sunny Poipu with gorgeous ocean views and beautifully landscaped grounds. There are great restaurants within walking distance or 5 to 10 minute drive, and the resort is centrally located for trips further afield to check out the many sights of Kauai. The staff is always lovely and work hard to accommodate guests' needs. Waiohai is our absolute favorite place to stay in the islands!

We've been coming to the Waiohai every other year for the last 20 years. The location is awesome and really the best in the Poipu area. We love the rooms and the service - all rooms have minor and major upgrades on a regular basis so everything always looks new. The pool area is amazing with areas for young kids as well as adult areas for quiet time. Hot tubs are placed around the property and BBQs are available as well. The poolside hut offers food and drinks throughout the day. The truly spectacular part is the ocean access and beach area. Snorkeling, paddleboarding and surfing are all available and we always see seals and turtles. Whether you're looking for activities or peace and quiet, the Waiohai has it all!!!

This two bedroom two bath villa easily sleeps 6-8. There is an additional pull-out sofa-bed in the living room. The villa includes a full kitchen and laundry room. There are 3 televisions - one in each bedroom and one in the the living room. The Lanai (patio) has an Ocean View. The resort has outdoor pools and jacuzzis, outdoor barbeques and picnic areas, and a beautiful beach - perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The relaxing Honu bar is located right by the entrance to the beach. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Love the Waiohai. Swimming and snorkeling excellent at beach right in front of the hotel. Resort is gorgeous, service excellent. Location perfect to 2 shopping centers with easy walk to each one.

Stayed here numerous times. Love the location and that floorplan. Kitchen and BBQ'S, so I have option to have a home cooked meal if I want. Staff is amazing and beach is awesome.
