This suite is on the Las Vegas Strip, close to all attractions, shows, and convention centers. It is a luxury suite with two kingsize bedrooms and two full bathrooms, as well as a full kitchen and laundry. It has all the amenities you need for a stress free vacation or a comfortable base for attending trade shows and conferences. Nice and spacious unit maintained perfectly. The staff is friendly and helpful. The workout room / gym is top-notch. You can enter to resort and your unit without having to smell the stench of cigarette smoke which is all too common in Vegas. Parking is a major pain having to park in a parking garage fourth floor or higher (lower floors are for valet) and being charged for parking in a city where most parking is free. The heated pool is a bit chilly and there are no planned activities for families. The resort location is at the very end of the strip next to the Sahara so most of the fun still requires driving in the terrible Las Vegas traffic. There is a new mega-resort casino being built nearby but the completion date is up in the air due to the current economic conditions.

Not by any means a bad place. The resort itself is great but just a bit too far from the fun.

Just returned from a wonderful Spring Break Week, with our two teenage daughters, and I can say that the HGVC on the Las Vegas Strip has cracked "The Top Five" of our favorite resorts visited in the past 15 years of timesharing.

People who vetch about fans in the bathroom need to close the ensuite door for two minutes, and let the AC (that'd be the air conditioning system) do its job!!! Duh!

The furnishings are great, the pool is shallow but fairly well laid out with a full service Bar &Grill at poolside......great Bloody Mary's BTW!!!

Some folks walked across the street to use the Monorail, but we just drove.....the Freeway runs parallel to Las Vegas Blvd......so it's not too much trouble to find the Self- Park garage at each casino. There was a little construction noise, but other than that, our holiday was near perfect.

The Marketplace downstairs has essential dry goods, hygiene products, beer/wine, etc.....and also a very good deli and pizza place. The prices ain't cheap, but at the end of a long day of driving, that pizza saved the day!!

BTW, our Top Five so far.....

    1. Lawrence Welk Resort, Escondido, CA 2. Orange Lake Resort, Kissimmee, FLA 3. Starwood Desert Oasis, Scottsdale, AZ 4. HGVC On The Strip, Las Vegas, NV 5. TIE....Eagle Crest, Redmond, OR/Wapato Point, Manson, WA/The Lodge at Kananaskis, ALBERTA, CANADA

We'll be returning to the Hilton again!

    Happy timesharing!!

I've read through a bunch of these reviews, and I've got to say I don't think these people with negative comments actually stayed at the HGVC on the Strip. I went last January 2008 with my mom, brother, sister-in-law, sister, and niece. We stayed in a three bedroom suite. That's a master bedroom with amazing signature jacuzzi tub and bathroom, fully outfitted kitchen with washer / dryer, gorgeous living room with plasma screen tv and sleeper sofa, second bedroom was smaller but well-appointed, second full bathroom not connected to second bedroom so it could be accessed easily by everyone, and third bedroom which is actually a single room attached by a connecting door which has it's own mini kitchen and full bathroom. There are two entrances and the connecting room could be sealed off and treated as a separate room for a mother-in-law needing privacy, for example.

This is the most formidable and largest time-share in the world with a grand entry rotunda like a shopping mall with great little shops. The pool area, one guy said the deck was too small and had too few chairs, I think he posted in the wrong section because that comment is more befitting of the HGVC at the Hilton Hotel which has a very tiny deck and pool--he obviously mis-read. A lot of people have complained in these reviews about a lack of fans and ventilation in the bathrooms? I have no clue what they are talking about. If this is true, I don't recall it, nor do I recall "hot and steamy bathrooms" . I can assure you that I would have noticed any stench. Moreover, such lack of forethought is not the HGVC way. These are the finest and most well-appointed time shares in the USA. I've stayed at countless others and never been as impressed. I've stayed in HGVCs in Florida, Las Vegas, Colorado, and Hawai'i. I've stayed in other company time shares in Mexico, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawai'i, and Florida. Nothing has ever compared to my HGVC experience.

The guest service people at this particular property were incredibly warm and thoughtful people. As for there being no casinos nearby, these posters are nuts. You can walk across the street to the Aladdin and up the street a short walk to the Circus Circus. My family walked to both. This property is on the Strip between the Stratosphere and Circus Circus. You don't need to take a cab, that's lunacy. You can walk to the Aladdin and take the monorail all the way to the MGM Grand--which we also did. I have no idea what these complainers are complaining about. The pool, by the way is gigantic. "There's nothing to do for kids?" Um, sorry, but first, Vegas is not for kids, and second, other than a pool, what is there for kids at any Time Share? I cannot recall if there was a game room, but there usually is in all official HGVCs not the managed HGVCs. Seriously folks, I could have just stayed there forever and been in 7th heaven.

I have a 3 Bdrm/3 Bath Penthouse Level Suite in tower 2 and have found the accommodations top notch and the staff is very friendly, always helpful. The location is great, right on the strip but north of the heavy traffic zone further south. The quality of the decor and furnishings are excellent. The fact that this facility has great amenities and no gaming is exceptionally attractive to me.The new parking garage is also a plus.

Stayed in the new tower. (2 more to come) Beautiful and spacious. Was very surprised that there was daily room cleaning. Was familiar to a competitors timeshare at Koolina Hawaii where room cleaning is done thoroughly at check-out and one time (spot) during the week. What a surprise and embarrassment to find out that the room was attempted to be cleaned each day we were there. Would have put away all our shopping bags, suitcases, and at least "clean up" a little. We thought that it was standard practice to have the room cleaned and new towels in only on request or one time per week. One up on the competition, thank you for a great experience. Service was prompt, the exercise room was especially welcomed.

Improvements? An activity desk or area, shuttle to the Hilton Hotel where the monorail is located. That would be perfect, no cabs, or trolley needed and access to restaurants and shows within the Hilton family, after all we can make charges to our timeshare at the hotel Making access also possible only make sense.

Once you go timeshare, there is no competition to a hotel room. This is the only way we travel.

Traded our Waikoloa HGVC for a 3 bedroom. Love Las Vegas.

    Spent 3 days, August 6-9, 2007, in a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom,penthouse on the 38th floor in tower 2.

Floor to ceiling windows, great views, wonderful amenities, helpful friendly staff.

As others have noted it's at the north end of the strip, but there is lots of building going on and soon it's going to be a prime location. The Wynn Encore is under construction and the Fountaineblue across the street has begun construction. I believe I was told that Hilton will start tower 3 in 2009. Tower 3 & 4 will both be 50 stories high!

Just returned May 07. Great resort-- exceptionally clean and all the staff very friendly. We had a 2 BR with a living room and a full kit complete w/granite counters. This is on strip, but quite a ways down from all the popular casinos. Take a bus from in front of resort $5.00 unlimited rides for 24 hrs. Great deal as cab rides are approx 13.00 one way to casinos. Only restaurant was poolside, good store/market. Staff - terrific!

April 2004 - Stayed April 2004, the staff was very nice, they first put us in a handicapped room then immediately upgraded us to an one bed room suite. We were staying on the Hilton promotional sale package. Room very large and nice, not as nice as Marriott's resort in Hawaii, but a similar pattern. You can not open the windows and their is no balcony. But most resorts in Vegas do not have balconies. The pool small as well. That being said the resort is brand new and very good quality. It is best to have a rental car as the resort is on the far north end of the strip. The lack of the bathroom fan was not a problem, don't know why there are no fans especially since you can not open any windows. But if you keep the air on, the lack of a bathroom fan is not a problem. Would recommend to anyone who is planning to go Vegas!

Hotel is vey clean. Rooms are a nice size. Front desk staff is rude. Pool deck is too small and doesn't have enough chairs, if you are not there by 10 am you won;t find a seat in the sun. Bathrooms don't have fans!!! Air Conditioning and heat don't have a thermostat so the fan blows all night long. Could hear thru the walls at night! No key card access to elevators, so anyone can get on to the floors. Liked the LV Hilton site better.

We actually stayed at this property as part of a promotion through the Hilton. My wife and I shared a 1-bedroom suite that was more than adequate. The staff was friendly, check in/out a breeze, and the property clean and neat. It is a short walk to Circus/Circus..Riviera Hotel area if you want to gamble or go out for dinner. The unit we stayed in had the full kitchen, widescreen tv, jacuzzi tub and shower. Exceptional place to stay and well situated on the LV Strip for whatever you plan to do. It is definately an upscale resort. Very typical Hilton quality.

The room is nicely equiped, but too many doors. Bathroom need vent or fan. Too many lights in the room. Pool is only activites for kids, but the pool needed more figures. Can not compare with any hotel in the strip.

Location is too far from local attractions. Always needed Taxi or Trolly.

The only good comment is for the staffs, very helpful and friendly.

The location is difficult to get to and from the casinos and no casinos comp to this hotel!

It is costly taxi'ing back and forth to the strip!

Michael, the supervisor at the timeshare dept, is a horses butt! Super sales pressure and doesn't understand how to talk to people!
