We have been coming to the Cayman Islands for over 12 years. We stayed at Morritt's Tortuga Club twice on a trade thru Interval and subsequently decided to purchase (from an owner selling on Redweek.com). So now we've stayed at the Morritt's three times (for a total of four weeks). We absolutely love MORRITT'S.
The safety of this island is unsurpassed. Even tho the Morritt's is a bit of a drive from town, it is well worth it to be away from all the cruise ships, and there are many, many things to fill your needs in the area that don't require being in town (i.e. great restaurants, gift shops, Rum Pointe in lieu of Seven Mile Beach, access to tours, grocery stores). No need to even rent a car, but it is super convenient for the guests that Andy's is located across the street.
With regard to the Morritt's, the ambiance bespeaks of genuine customer service from the owners (I've had several personal conversations with Mimi) down to all levels of staff. ALL management and staff are down to earth and eager to please. Maintenance staff were quick and knowledgeable with issues (only one in four weeks' of staying at resort). UNLIKE the case with a lot of resorts, MORRITT'S has chosen to continue with some daily housekeeping duties, as well as a midweek full cleaning. KUDOS TO MORRITT'S FOR THIS WHERE ALL OTHER RESORTS ARE CUTTING BACK.
It's nice that there are so many buildings in the Tortuga Club that you can request a variety of settings to suit your situation. (I needed first floor near the pool with quick, easy accessibility to my unit so I could keep an eye on my husband with dementia.)
Prime Rib night and All You Can Eat Lobster night at David's -- there are no words to describe. It bespeaks five-star quality food and customer service. The prime rib melted in our mouth, and the lobster was delectable. (I ate five.)
Snorkelling is excellent right out front of the resort, as is swimming, windsurfing, all water sports. The dive group and Red Sail located right on the beach is another example of quality customer service. Highly recommend you go on a Stingray City tour. It is a unique experience you'll never forget and not easily found elsewhere.
The Morritt's kindness and caring attitude toward maintaining the culture with respect to the presence of some cats is unmatched in the islands. The cats are fixed, and they are in good health. I noticed how many guests enjoyed a few of them and several remarked that's why they come to this resort. Their presence is a comfort for folks who have had to go on vacation and leave our pets behind. There's a saying, "You can judge a country by how they treat their animals." Morritt's is in the forefront for setting a sterling example in this regard.
Whether you stay in an updated (contemporary) unit or one not yet renovated (Caribbean decor), you can't go wrong staying at Morritt's. Easy access to all three pools, the ocean, water sports, beach.
The only reason I gave 4* for Sleep Comfort instead of 5* is because I wish the bed was king size instead of queen size. But with a bit of weight loss on my part, that could be solved. LOL

Have stayed at Morritt's numerous times and love the resort and staff. Great beach, snorkeling, several gorgeous pools, good food & drink and a dive shop on site.....LOVE this place.
Just returned 1/18/2015 after two weeks at Morritts Tortuga Club. We stayed in a two bedroom oceanfront townhouse. The unit was clean and well maintained. The ocean was so close the noise from the surf put me to sleep every night. The staff was exceptionally friendly always greeting us when we walked by. The maids were great and kept the room very clean. You get clean beach towels everyday. We ate at Davids a few times and the food and service was 5 star. The welcome party BBQ and the all you can eat lobster was to die for. We also had the breakfast buffet, fabulous. Planning on going back next year.
Missing personal items after housekeeping came, all employees at their waterside bar, Mimi's, were unfriendly. My unit was outdated and patched up.
My husband and I have been going to Morritts since right after hurricane Ivan in 2004. I have seen good and bad at this resort. I have to tell you that it is on an upward climb. If you look at the other reviews here look at the timeline. There has been new management the past few years and it has made a big difference. When we experienced any repair issue it was addressed very quickly. Yes the bars are expensive but you are in Cayman and everything is on the expensive side. The resort this year was great. The from the front desk staff to the guy who cleaned the pool, everyone could not have been nicer. The hosts ( concierge ) are all really helpful and go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. We were fortunate to be able to attend on large party this trip. Morritts was named the best resort in Latin America/Caribbean by a Timeshare Publication. They have also recently received some RCI awards.
Things to do here are unlimited. We snorkel for hours at a time right at the resort. There is great snorkeling right there. Don't miss a trip to Rum Pointe. It is a short drive and it is great for a change of scenery and of course you can take a trip out to see the stingray from there. On the way we stopped at Starfish Point. Your host can give you directions to the point. We always stop at Over the Edge for breakfast on the way to Rum Pointe. The Italian Kitchen across the street is a good place to eat too.
We keep going back because it feels like a very beautiful home. We always are greeted with "welcome home" from the staff. You need to try this place for your self.
Just returned from a wonderful week of warm beautiful weather. The 2 bedroom unit was spacious and clean. The resort it self was very clean. All I can say is, WE WILL BE BACK!
SO WONDERFUL TO WALK OUT TO A BEAUTIFUL BEACH AND SNORKLE. SO RELAXING.
We had really enjoyed our stay in unit 4312 seaside building. Our 2bdrm unit was clean and comfortable with a daily cleaning service. It has a fully stocked kitchen so it was easy to prepare simple meals. We liked a quite location of the resort. It has a great snorkeling but bring your aqua shoes to go swimming because of seaweed and rocks, but it really didn't effect our swimming experience. The restaurant and bar have a great food and we also enjoyed a fire-eating show and a movie on a veranda. The Foster's grocery store has a basic selection of food but prices are higher than in town, Dunkin Donuts is very expensive, smaller sizes and not as tasty. we liked the Rum point in the afternoon since it was not crowded and their snack bar food was really good. Also, we rented a car and went to a Seven Mile Beach. It was fun . Atlantis' tour was interesting but very expensive. We didn't like food at Portofino, but enjoyed a brazilian steakhouse , however it is very expensive. Over the edge restaurant has also a good reasonably priced menu.
We have owned the Tortuga Club for many years and just love it. The staff are always helpful and friendly! The island is wonderful to visit with lots to do for everyone in the family. The botanical gardens are wonderful, there are many lovely private snorkeling spots around the island that don't cost you a cent. I know that people always comment on how expensive it is to eat out in Cayman, but The kitchens at the club are fully stocked, so you can easily stay in and cook meals to save money. We usually eat out for lunches and then stay in for dinners, as most places have great lunch specials.
The beach at the club is great for snorkeling and, in our case, windsurfing. There are always people up for beach volleyball too.
We have always had a wonderful time at Morritts and expect to be happy owners for many years.
Our family just returned from a week at Morritt's Tortuga and it was fantastic. Both our kids (a son, 15, and a daughter, 10) made fast friends and the environment is so safe that they roamed freely between our poolside room, Mimi's dock, and the Morritts Grand right next door. There is something fun happening every night - a DJ, a fire-eater, a game of island-Jeopardy, etc. The weather was not great, but we've been told by several repeat visitors that it was uncommonly cool (mid-70's) for that mid-February week; we will very likely give it another try next year! It was also windy, but I think that is customary for Grand Cayman. We did swim with the stingrays and it was wonderful. The island itself is very clean and the local people who we dealt with were warm and friendly. The culture has a zero-tolerance policy on anything illegal so the level of personal safety and comfort is extremely high. Prior to this trip, we visited St. Thomas USVI for four years in a row, and we never had that same feeling there.
My one cautionary recommendation is that you bring your own beach towels. The towels provided by the resort can go missing from the beach, pool, or your patio because if you don't turn in the same number you signed out, they charge you $30/towel, absolutely no exceptions. I had to mediate a towel argument at the pool that I was afraid was going to come to blows. After a few days the pressure got to be too much and I turned them in rather than having to worry more about the towels than I had to worry about my kids!
The unit we stayed in was bright and comfortable, the kitchen had most of the basics, and we did cook-in a couple of nights, since eating out is expensive. Our big splurge was dinner at Portofino's the last night - pricey but fantastic.
As many of the other reviews point out, there are other charges made by the resort, such as for electricity. For our family of four, it was about $50 for the week, much less than I expected, possibly because the week was cooler and we only used the a/c a night.
My wife and I stayed at Morritt's from October 10 -17th of 2009
On the negative side, it was expensive - electricity, drinks, food and some excursions. We had all day rain for two of our days and some rain on two others.
The positives, however, greatly exceeded the negatives. All three pools were great and we loved the bar that were available in the 2 of the 3 pools (IN the pools!). Snorkeling onsite was decent but the excursion to Stingray City (an absolute must!) brought us to Rum Point which is one of the prettiest places I have ever been to. The food at the bar was surprisingly good and comparitively so not so expensive. The snorkeling was fantastic.
Our Exchange was for a room on the ocean (they told us most Exchanges are poolside so we were VERY fortunate). When I was not eating, sleeping or snorkeling, I was sitting on our deck looking out over the ocean. I was up EARLY most mornings watching the stars fade away to the sunrise. The Big Dipper was right at the water - one night I watched a thunderstorm way out at sea. Tons of shooting stars too.
All the staff were very nice to us and did a great job serving us.
I highly recommend Morritt's (but be prepared for an additional $750-$1000 in expenses for the week for two...it really adds up).

We stayed at the Morritts with our children and grandchild in August. We had a great time! There is something to do for everyone. A playground with swings and a slide was a great asset to the resort. There were three pools.. one had an water exercise program several times during the week, the other two had swim up bars. There are jetskiis to entertain the kids, terriffic snorkling right from the beach, and the beach..well, it was Wonderful! We found the staff exceptionally willing to please and the unit well stocked and imaculate..and I am fussy! The furniture in all the poolside units have been updated and really has an Island flare. We cooked in and bbqed, but there are many really nice restaurants around. Things may be a bit more in the Caymans, but you don't have any rift raft around, the island is really safe. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort.
We are in our last day in a week at Morritts and have had a great time despite very windy weather this week. They say that is very unusual for this time of year. The East End location is so much less congested than the Georgetown area. We've stayed here several times and it seems every year they add something. This time they moved the workout room to a great location with a view and have added several new aerobic machines.
Our 2 bedroom penthouse had a great view of the ocean. The staff is real friendly and there is a daily calendar of stuff to do. Red Sails runs the scuba shop and are a great bunch. The sites are typically very close which means shorter boat rides. The grocery store across the street is also very convenient as it is stocked with almost everything. (except alcohol).
A nice place for a relaxing week away from it all!
We stayed at the Tortuga Club in April 2008. Accommodations were a third floor penthouse, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. The unit was very spacious. There is no dishwasher but the four of us didn't need a dishwasher. The rooms are being refurbished since Hurricane Ivan.
Very friendly staff. We enjoyed drinks and lunch at the Tiki Bar several times. The Tortuga Club has a beautiful beach and we used the very lovely, well maintained pools on several occasions.
This is a wonderful resort to visit with family. Children have a pool for themselves. It is about 8-10 miles from Rum Point, a MUST SEE beach facility.
I have stayed at Morritt's on four occassions. Something has happened since 2004 with the staff. It is terrible. It started with the young lady at check in. We had 3 rooms. I asked for us to have rooms close together. We were from one end of the resort to the other. Then on Monday, when we had the orientation, well, how rude can a concierge be? I was overwhelmed with anger. I had to leave. We booked our own excursions. I would not use Morritt's to book anything. She was not busy, would not wait on us, then we watched as she went and poured herself a drink. Debbie was her name. I will write her up to RCI also. It took 3 days to receive kitchen towels and potholders. I had food in the oven when I noticed that I did not have a potholder. I called the front desk, I was told,"we'll be right over." I asked the maid 3 times, She just didn't have them. The room needed some updating. This is suppose to be a Gold Crown Resort, it is not. The Grand may be, where we were is not, our view was of a broken down table, they did come and remove it midweek. I planned this trip for 2 years, We have stayed before, the resort has not been completely updated from the Hurricane, they need to finish. They have made some improvements, but it is not completed. We parked in a field, Tropical Strom Dolly came, we had 6" of water to walk through, the parking lot was gone, or not finished. We did eat one meal at Davids that we all thought was very good. If, we had been treated better by the resort, we would have eated more. After being treated so badly on Monday, we decided not to spend anymore money there. We always eat their Caribbean night dinners, but not this year. There is a $8.00 a night resort tax plus you have to pay your electric bill for each room. We did have daily maid service, we were all very happy with this, and tipped our maid. We all had a different maid and they all did a very good job. We love Grand Cayman, I will search somewhere else to stay. I was going to buy a unit this trip, this is what is so sad, my husband has now said no. I really wanted the Grand. We had toured it four years ago. I wish I could express to you on paper Debbie's actions on Monday. It was uncalled for. On Tuesday, my husband walked back through the lobby, he said," do you feel better today?" She replied, "well yes, I do," He said, "good," "Yesterday, You were not nice" (Actually that's not how he phrased it, but this is family friendly) He said, she just stared at him...like how do I know you, she had dealt with me.
stayed at morritts tortuga for 2 weeks in dec 07. This was the only time share I ever stayed where they charge you a time share tax of $8.00 per day. Time share owners around the world pay maintenance on their units which include local taxes but this place charges additional fee to stay there. In addition I had to pay weekly utility fees. I never used the a/c yet the fee ran about seventy dollars a week. There is no happy hour at there bars,a beer in this resort costs about $6.00 and then they add on a gratutity of 15%. All and all I felt I was being nickled and dimed the whole time. They have a resturant at the resort called David's. To say the food was fair would be to give it a high rating. The chef has a very unimaginative approach to cooking. If you stay at the resort and are going out to dinner go to either the Lighthouse or Portofinos. Both these resurants served good meals. Under no circumstances go to Rolands Garden. He is a very pleasant fellow ,but his food is terrible. He has a unique billing system. he asks you to pay what you feel the meal is worth. All and All the resort is quite beautiful but with all the extra expenses I would stay somewhere else in the future.
OK- So the resort is in all different levels of renovation. Looks like all the OCEAN units are completely renovated (ripped out sheatrock,new kitchens, high speed LAN connection) in the 4300 building. It looks to me more like the pool units have been cleaned up. Same tile, paint, some have new furniture and some seem to have kitchen upgrades. I am less sure on the pools since this was just from walking by. We stayed in both an Ocean 1BR Tortuga and Seaside 1BR which are all NEW.
Noticed that Morritts Tortuga is #2 on TripAdvisor which is pretty amazing when you consider the Ritz, Westin, Hyatt and others. I would say it's nicer but that you get a better value. You can stay here for $100-200 per night and those are north of $400 without kitchens.
Here in November and it is nice but windy.....have been traveling over to RUM point a lot due to wind.
We loved this place. We stayed in a one bedroom, first floor, pool view unit for two weeks. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. We rented a car and really enjoyed checking the island out. We ate at a different restaurant just about every night (the choice is endless). We did find the island expensive, but we knew this before we left and were prepared. We were there on a rci exchange and felt we were treated the same as everyone else.
We definitely would return here.

We stayed here in March. The island is still recovering from the hurricane. They are doing a wonderful job, especially considering the obstacles they must overcome. Our unit was extremely clean. It appeared to be an older unit, but very well maintained. There were plenty of activities if you wanted to participate. The food was as good or better than anywhere else we ate on the island. I believe this resort lost buildings etc during the hurricane so there was construction going on. Easy check-in and out and all staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions etc we had. The resort manager was around everyday, easy to find and always available to answer questions. They also have an orientation which was helpful in knowing all about who, what and where regarding the resort and the island. We also had a resort rep that provided us with assistance and information. We liked it because it is on the quiet side of the island away from the cruise ships, noise and too many people.
Nice location, HOWEVER, the pool fountains were left running 24 hours making it difficult to sleep with the windows open due to the noise and impossible to hear the ocean. With the windows closed the A/C had to be on and you pay your own utilities here. Though we were told there were unoccupied rooms in other buildings, the front desk staff was rude, very unaccomodating and refused to move us away from the pool.
Most days a note was left on every guests front door as to why the maintenance staff needed to be inside the room. This was for minor things such as resetting the code on the safe or washing the deck...definitely chores that should be done when the room is unoccupied by guests. The interior carpet was in dire need of cleaning and we had a towel rack that barely clung to the wall by its' screws that were pulling out. The wall was left unpainted from many previous repairs.
Ivan's (David's) restaurant had decent service and nice waiters/waitresses, but the food was NOT good....we gave it a shot three times.
The Tortuga is convenient to a grocery store and water sports. I would not return here and give it a 1 rating because I have to.
Stayed the at the Morritt's Tortuga Club Jan 12-19 2007 had a great time. Had a 2 Bedroom Penthouse room which had a huge living area and a large deck. We had friends of ours who had a 2 bedroom duplex, I liked ours better. Our room was so large our place was party central we had 9 people sitting around with room for more. Only draw back was 2 flights of stairs. The room was very clean and all furnishings looked fairly new.
Morritt's Tortuga Club is at the far end of the island, you need a car to go anywhere. We drove around for 3 days and spent the rest of the week at the Morritt's, 3 nice pools, nice beach, nice staff and a good restaurant. Would love to be there now its 10 degrees in NY.
Traded into Morritts Tortuga week of Sept 15 - 22. Definitely not up to Gold Crown Standards. Townhouse (5108) was a little run down - carpet on stairs and upstairs was very dirty. Our 11 month old had to crawl across the floor and his legs were black after about 15 minutes. We had to get away from this place in order to enjoy ourselves. After many complaints we were moved to another room in the Morritts Grand - much better. If you are looking for Gold Crown do not settle for Morritts Tortuga. Staff was friendly but you felt as if they were putting you off - took us 4 days before they did anything.
My husband and I just returned from our 1 week stay at Morritts March3-10. We had a 2bdrm pool Penthouse and absolutely LOVED it! Number 3303.
The resort has lost alot of its palm trees that were sitting on the beach so that was a dissapointment, but, a massive hurricane will do that.
Cayman is more expensive than we remembered, be prepared. We were there 3 years ago for our honeymoon, we returned for our anniversary and this was also our 3rd time at Morritts because we love the quietness of the East End.
Other than the construction happening from the new bigger building and missing the pier, we had a great time. The grocery store that is being build across from the Reef is no where near completion. Ivan's is small but they have a breakfast buffet that is priced very fair at $9.95 CI. Otherwise, it's pretty spendy. I would absolutely recommend staying here and I know we'll be back again!
remotely situated in terms of gourmet dining choices, about a 30 minute drive to 7 mile beach, it is well situated for truly excellent deep wall diving. The units are pretty, but the staff could use a tune up. We visited 2 weeks after 9/11. Whle the hotel was only 15% filled, they tried to give us a unit overlooking the tennis court. It took a day of arguing before they would move us. Did I mention it was our honeymoon?
Everything is looking good and mostly repaired according to the photos and rebuilding info on the resort's web site which is www.morritt.com
I was told they will be open by this September.
We rented a one bedroom ocean front week at Morritts from an owner in Jan 03. We had spent a week on 7 mile beach about four years ago. We definitely enjoyed being away from the "rumbling herd " of 7 mile beach. The unit while not large was very comfortable for two people. The bed was super! The restaurant at Morritts was very good but we enjoyed near bye restaurants even more. The dive operation at Morritts was the best -- excellent service and a great dive boat. A real gem, since my wife doesn't scuba ,was the fact that the snorkeling under the pier for the dive boats was the best I have ever seen in a concentrated area. We saw 14 different types of fish in two days.
The bottom line I would recommend Morritts for a great experience in the Caymans
Nice place but definitely not up to Gold Crown standards. Overrated. Poorly equipped units. Very noisy if you are on a lower floor.
My first timeshare purchase was certainly not a mistake! Although the US dollar takes a hit and prices are fairly high, it was worth every penny. The evening activities were fun and the swimming in pools or the ocean fabulous.
The only difficulty we had was with transportation. Not daring to rent a car (left side of the road), we had to rely on island transportation which is not always dependable. We had difficulty finding out about the bus schedule to leave the resort even though I know there is one (finally found it in the phone book after asking many staff).
In spite of that, I loved it enough to upgrade my unit and have already booked for next year. Maybe by then, I'll be brave enough to drive! Don't miss this place.
We purchased this resort sight unseen and were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was freshly painted with newer furniture and the most spectactular view of the caribbean you could ever have! The resort staff was friendly and everyone spoke english very well, no language problems on the entire island.
We fell in love with Grand Cayman and it's people, everyone was friendly and you always felt safe and welcome. There is plenty to do on 7 mile beach for everyone, and renting a car is easy so you can get to all the sights on your own.
After visiting many caribbean islands we would rate the Caymans #1. All the food we had was great, if a little expensive. If you can afford it you should go you won' regret it. MONEY WELL SPENT!!
We stayed Feb 14-21. The resort was booked, but it never felt crowded. Plenty of room at the pools and chairs available at the pool and beach. The only problem we had was that fresh beach towels were often not available.
The 2 bedroom, 3 bath poolside townhouse was okay, but showing its age (I think the resort was built around 1989). There is a TV in the living room, but not in the master bedroom. There is a coin laundry available. VCRs can be rented for $5/day (there is a free selection of videotapes). The bed in the master bedroom was not too comfortable. The carpeting on the stairs and upstairs was dirty and worn.
The snorkeling right at the dock was excellent. The beach was nice but not as beautiful as 7 mile beach (about 45-50 minute drive away). The staff were friendly and the activities were nice (eg, fire and limbo show).
The resort is on the quiet East End of Grand Cayman, 45 minutes to an hour from Georgetown.
We have been owners for years and have felt it was a wonderful vacation investment. We have always found the units clean and well maintained. We are an ocean front location so have loved the ability to walk out to the ocean. This resort is a laid back place where shorts and bathing suits are the established attire. It is off the beaten path in a beautiful location. If you like diving (or snorkeling, sunning or just being near the water), a relaxed atmosphere, and proximity to good food, this is the place to be!
Excellent resort for couples and families -- singles should likely stick to the west side! Comfortable (not fancy) rooms. shorts and t- shirts kind of place.
Fun activities every day -- you chose whether or not to participate. Most are free. The entertainment is top rate!
Fantastic snorkeling right in front of the resort around their dock and in the area between the beach and the barrier reef.
This resort is fabulous! It is not glitzy which is why we rate it higher than some people might. We want comfort, cleanliness, and good amenities without feeling the need to keep up w/the Jones's. All you need is a swimsuit and some shorts. No fancy dressing. You'll have as much peace and activity at this place as you choose to have. There's a private ocean swimming pool the size of a bay right in front completely rimmed by a coral reef with turquoise water clear and warm. The sand is soft and pink.
The location is at the opposite end of the island from town. I suppose this could be a downer if you want to bar hop. The scuba shop and diving are the best on the island. The best dive sites are out here.
Rooms are well maintained although David's Restaurant has darn good food and lots of clean, fun entertainment happens in the evening for the amusement of all ages. We got our share of boogying! We've been there 3 times and would go back in a NY minute. (even though we are from the West coast). We rent a car (the cheapest possible one) and try not to make too many mistakes driving on the opposite side of the road. We buy a week's worth of food at a wonderful modern supermarket. We're cheapskates and we find that it's not much more expensive (except alcohol and pop) than any US city. Don't bother bringing your own food. Just go enjoy, and be sure to go snorkeling w/the stingray!
Outstanding resort and location on one of the safest islands in the Caribbean. Awesome dive and snorkle locations right from beach. Freindly staff and plenty of activities with dive shop and beach rentals on-site.
Recommend renting a car for venturing around the island. Stop by one of the local road side BBQs for authentic jerk chicken and pork.
We were here over Christmas and had a SUPER time!! The condos are well maintained, spacious ( we were 4 in a one bedroom- no problem). The staff is extremely friendly, the restaurant quite good, beach is beautiful and no problem getting a lounge chair. There is always something going on (Volleyball, Nightly Entertainment) if you want to partake if not just sit back & relax. It's a very family friendly place... we met some really nice people. The diving & snorkeling are to die for and all the water sports are right on property! The area is very safe...I walked 2 miles each morning by myself with just the sound of the birds. It was lovely. I rec. renting a car as you are about 1/2 hr. from Georgetown. You can take the bus in or not go at all- we went over for dinner 3 times. Go... You won't be dissappointed!!
Stayed here Nov/2002 in a studio. We really enjoyed our vacation and thought the staff was friendly. The restaurant had recently hired new cooking staff and the food was excellent. We went to several dining activities planned by the resort and were very pleased with the variety of the menu and participation by guests. We especially enjoyed "Comedy Club" night. The bartenders make an awesome Mudslide!! It is a wonderful place to relax.
We also took advantage of the island tours and water activities arranged by the resort. We went on a private jet ski safari with one staff member for several hours. It was awesome!!
The thing to remember about going to the Caymans is that nothing is cheap!! Everything is expensive. Transportation expenses are outrageous. It is definitely more economical to rent a half car!!
We had a great time.
Rooms were clean, up-to-date. Staff was helpful. Watersports were good..especially windsurfing and diving. Beach clean and surprisingly empty. Evening entertainment tops.
Tourist tax too high
High government tax on timesharers. Unit had maintenance problems.
Toured MorrittsGrand in July, but walked all around the Tortuga Club as well. I thought the grounds were well kept, beach was beautiful. Rooms we looked at seemed very nice and clean.
This was the worst place I have ever stayed! The rooms are old and damp, the grounds are unkept and the staff doesn't care! The restaurant was dirty and the food was horrible. Everything at the resort was over priced and over rated.
