Mexican flavor! Beautiful luxury resort overlooking the Sea of Cortez with views of the sea and Land's End. Gorgeous attractively furnished, fully equipped accommodation. Large balconies. Safe and secure. Three delightful pools with poolside service. Play area for children. Three first-class restaurants. 10 min from the exciting downtown of Cabo, and the fun at Medano Beach.

We have owned a one bedroom unit at Hacienda Encantada since 2006. It is a very beautiful complex. One reviewer says "too far from town"; not so. It is a 10 minute ride and they have a large Mercedes Benz mini-bus that takes you to town. Bus holds about 25 people and makes trips throughout the day and evening. This is a 5-star resort and you will enjoy staying there! We own unit 4151 for week 49 each year. It is the 4th floor Penthouse unit; 1400 SF with large covered patio area. Unit overlooks the negative edge pool and ocean...excellent location. Can't use this year so available for rent. Try it; you will not be disappointed!

I purchased a unit that can only be used every 3 years and found out this year I am being charged double what the every year owners are charged for maint fees and was charged double the special assessment. Be very wary. It is too far out of town as well.

Have been to Cabo since the eighties- about 12 times. Have been on probably 6 timeshare tours over the years and stayed in most of the popular resorts- Pueblo Bonitos, -3 of them, Cabo Villas, Mayan, Estancia, Finnestera, Marina Fiesta, etc. Took a timeshare tour at the Hacienda Encantada because we were staying at their sister hotel The Marina Fiesta, downtown in the Golden Zone, and of course got offered all the usual perks for attending.

While I have said NO to 6 other presentations, I simply could not refuse this Resort. It is nothing like ANY hotel I have ever stayed at in Cabo- it is not a typical large hotel chain on the corrider. It is very upscale, filled with authentic Mexican furnishings, artwork, rugs, & fountains. The Suites are beautiful -either one King or 2 Doubles, full or mini kitchens, dining areas, ( some have sitting areas,) balconies, walk in showers, and double sinks in the bathroom (which anyone who has ever traveled with two can appreciate). The huge bathrooms have 2 windows that can open from the marble whirlpool tub into the bedroom- very romantic!

There are 3 pools (one an infinity and a swim-up bar), 3 restaurants, a spa, gym, a holistic spa, tennis courts, and it is right across from the #1 rated gold course in Latin America. They even have a huge fire pit area where you can join your friends in the evening. Activites for both adults and kids, right near Costco and Wal Mart so you can stock up on necessities.

What intriqued me the most was the location- on a hilly bluff with a beautiful view overlooking the Sea of Cortez, very calming, and serene, yet just a hotel shuttle ( less than 10 minutes) away from downtown Cabo for nightlife and shopping. The resort is interesting architecturally as it is on a hillside, so they have golf carts to pick you up if you don't want to walk, but that helps burn off those margaritas!

Great resort with the best of both Worlds!

Just returned from our fifth stay at HE. Every year we enjoy seeing the new things on property. This year was the new entrance and paved road, and the all-inclusive option. If you want a quiet place to relax on vacation while still being entertained by theme nights and a variety of dining options, Hacienda Encantada is the perfect place. If you are young party bar-hoppers, stay downtown with that crowd :) Both pool bars/restaurants offer completely different extensive menus and separate chefs, plus the option to eat poolside or at a separate dining patio. Las Marias is great for all day dining if you don't want poolside. La Trajeneras is an upscale restaurant serving seafood and steaks primarily. We travel with three children (16,14,10) who enjoy relaxing by the pool, but the resort has a free activities program lead by Fernan who is awesome! (hint-a nice tip for entertaining your kids for hours on end while you relax in your lounge chair is worth it) and you can get involved in the adult water volleyball and cooking classes. I might add that while the resort is kid-friendly, it might be too quiet for the over-active ones or those who want to play at the beach all day. We return every year for a reason and love HE, wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Wow, Wow and Wow! This resort is amazing! We just returned from a week stay in one of their 2 Bedroom Villas with 3 large full baths. The resort is beautiful so far and it looks like they are going to have another large section complete by mid-Nov. 08'. The infinity pools are breathtaking looking out over the Sea of Cortez. Every room has a very large patio overlooking the pool and the Sea. The rooms are very large with very upscale furnishings and a wonderful full kitchen with everything you need. The restaurant on the top of the hill has the most beautiful views and quality food to match. The service was outstanding and there always seemed to be someone ready to help. We felt this resort is in a perfect location, close enough to town to easily make the trip a couple times a day when desired or far enough away from all the commotion of downtown to really relax and enjoy the serenity. We have stayed in several of the Cabo resorts through the years, Hacienda Encantada has the real possibility of being one of the nicest resorts in all of Los Cabos when it's totally completed. Hopefully we'll be able to trade again to this resort in the future, we would really like to return.

This resort is beyond 5 stars. One of the most beautiful and serene that I have ever experienced. The decorator touches in the units are all first class down to the kitchenware. The views are spectacular from your balcony and the staff very gracious and helpful - they want your stay with them to be memorable and believe me it will be. The resort is just 10 minutes from the marina and a shuttle is provided at no cost every two hours. If you want peace and quiet this is the resort you will want to spend your vaca.

Hacienda Encantada is an amazing resort! It is still under construction but it did not effect our stay at all. The location couldn't be better, it is private but you still have a view of the arch, and from the cliffs you can watch the whales play out in the Sea of Cortez. The restaurant is on a cliff overlooking the Sea, spectacular sunrises and sunsets! The food was awesome as well.
