We came here for two weeks in June 2023 and had the best time. I brought several families here with us and we each had our own 2-bedroom condo. The resort had many activities going on during the day, like water aerobics, Volleyball, Ping-Pong, Zumba, arts and crafts, movie nights, There are two restaurants on site and they were fantastic. You can also walk directly accross the street and eat at several different restaurants. The area felt very safe. we had 19 people in our group. 9 adults and 10 children between 6 and 16. We never felt unsafe at or around this resort. We all took a taxi to the middle of town on Thursday night for their Art walk Festival. This Festival happens every Thursday in San Jose from 5-9pm. We had a great time looking at all the art and we ate dinner at one of the restaurants in the town.

Cabo Azul is the finest resort my wife and I have experienced. Many qualities make it our #1 choice, but the primary thing setting it apart from others is the service of the staff. The staff is there for one reason - the comfort of their guests, and it shows. From the bellmen upon arrival to the servers, housekeeping and front desk staff, we consistently felt pampered and respected.

The large villa units are impeccably made ready for arrival and are very nicely appointed. The 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units have full kitchens with all the utensils and cookware you'll need. The on-site restaurants are very good, especially the Sunday brunch in Javier's. The swim-up bar is a great place to hang out and meet people. The 5 pools are all heated, but the huge 3-level infinity pool is the star of the show. In addition, there is a very nice staffed children's pool area with a water slide and water features.

They are always plenty of lounge chairs and palapas available poolside for everyone. We've never had to get up at dawn to "reserve" lounge chairs.

The resort is short walking distance to many very good restaurants and a short cab/uber ride to excellent grocery stores. The small town of San Jose del Cabo is quieter than Cabo San Lucas and a good place to visit the town plaza for shopping and dining options.

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting, it's all there at Cabo Azul.

Resort is one of cleanest locations I have seen. Top notch security, Staff is friendly and accommodating as possible. One of my best vactionds ever!!

Cabo Azul is without a doubt a 5-star resort! With multiple pools, bars, and wonderful restaurants and world class service during your entire stay! If you want an extra special treat spend a day at the Spa being pampered in a spectacular setting away from the hustle and bustle! It's a getaway you won't forget!

Yes, it is a beautiful location on the Sea of Cortez.

The villas are large, super clean and comfortable many with incredible views. Full Kitchen if you get a villa.

It is however the management and staff that is different. Imagine a relationship with an experienced bellman who always looks for you; goes beyond and above the call of duty EVERY day.

Imagine suggestions to make you more comfortable than you already were when you lay the pool. Imagine the staff changing the covers on every chair around the pool every morning about 4:00 a.m. Imagine there being someone walking around the resort all day with a can of paint touching up a scrape on the wall. Imagine after you have walked through the sand near your chaise lounge someone coming behind you to rake the sand back. And imagine a smile, quick step and kindness in every interaction.

It is the people that make the difference the brings us back to Cabo Azul at least once a year.

We have stayed at this resort multiple time! This is the only resort we go to now in Cabo. The staff are BEYOND accommodating- I asked where the ice maker was and they told me to go back to my room and they brought me ice! The resort is gorgeous! The pool vibe is great- family friendly, but lots of space so couples can just chill too. Such an amazing resort!

Best Resort Ever!! Love serenity pools off some of the rooms and also adult only pool. Separate kids pool and main pool with infinity edge is gorgeous!

This is a great spot to relax and rejuvenate. The Spa is an excellent add on for your stay.

We had an amazing stay at this property in Jan 2023. The ground were beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. The location was awesome too. Located in San Jose, about 25min drive from the airport (we took a shared shuttle for $14/ea) and it was perfect!) The hotel is a 5min drive from San Jose’s historical center (about a $7 taxi fare each way). The downtown is so quaint and we had great meals!

The hotel pool area is incredible and overlooks the ocean. The vibe is upscale yet laid back. Their spa was amazing too and the pool restaurant “Flor de Noche” has great options too for all meals. Cant recommend this property enough!

Fabulous Resort, Visited many times. Convenient to airport (approx. 20mins). Town of Jose del Cabo a short distance -bus or taxi. All staff speak excellent English & always so willing to help. Have never stayed in a cleaner resort - anywhere ! Beds more comfy than my own.! Really cannot say enough good things about the place.

A truly exceptional experience. The restaurants and food selection was amazing. The staff are friendly and make the stay very relaxing. Gorgeous ocean views, everything is very clean and the walk to town has wonderful shops and art. Best week of relaxation we have had in a long time.

Absolutely fabulous 5-Star beach front resort. 5 infinity pools,complimentary pool and beach cabanas. 2 excellent restaurants on site. Downtown San Jose del Cabo a short walk from resort with fantastic restaurants and shopping. Service in all areas of resort is nothing short of spectacular! Cabo San Lucas is a 20 minute Uber away for $20USD.

I have traveled many times and this is by far my favorite resort. The pools are wonderful, service and food is superb. Lots of other restaurants across the street.

This is a great place to stay, your right on the beach, the hotel amenities are top notch, pools are beautiful, some even have swim up bars.

Location is excellent, no need for a car, your close to downtown, walking distance to good restraunts. There are good restraunts within the property, and and across the street. Great shopping downtown too.

Cabo Azul Resort is My Favorite Resort in Cabo with such Beautiful Decor and Gorgeous Pools! Javier's is our favorite Restaurant with Great Food and Margaritas!

Cabo Azul is an gorgeous resort with 3 amazing infinity pools, a children's pool, superior rooms, and excellent security. Very friendly, dedicated, staff plus exceptional Concierge services. Fantastic restaurants, Gym and full service Spa onsite. Beautiful clean beaches that go on forever.

Wonderful resort with several swimming pools and a large beach area. Many restaurant choices within walking distance. The resort is top of the line and the staff is wonderful. This is the perfect place to forget about life for a week of fun in the sun.

Beautiful resort and the staff is excellent Pretty much everything you need is right there Horse back riding on the beach 3 serenity pools swim up bar and so much more we spent 10 days of pure relaxation and loved it!!!

We have enjoyed Cabo Azul for 8 years - even had our marriage dinner under a large cabana on the beach there. We only provide the very BEST rooms at the Resort - the Grand Penthouses.
