Bluewater resort is a great place to vacation with family and friends. It has an on-site Lazy River and fishing pier, with very comfortable, well equipped and well maintained accommodations. Amenities and service are exceptional. There are some great restaurants within walking distance. My family loves this resort!

Bluewater is a clean , modern resort. You can sit out and soak in the calm views of the Intercoastal Waterway. They have kayaks for use if you want to explore. It has a wonderful pool area for kids and adults and is walking distance to some amazing restaurants. The resort is only a few minutes from the HH beaches, entertainment and outlet malls . We like Bluewater due to not having to fight the crowds.

Great Property Fish off the dock, kayak, BBQ multi-pools including lazy river. Beautiful views /sunsets walkable restaurants.

Loved the Intracoastal Waterway view from our balcony! Super roomy 2-BR unit; bright furnishings, comfy and very clean. Whirlpool tub in the master. 3 flatscreen tv's. The pier out onto the waterway really is the place for sunsets and daytime lounging. Free kayaking with the resort's tour guide! We grandparents had no experience but paddled easy on the flat water, and yes there are dolphins in the waterway! For the kids, the pool was big and perfect and they loved the lazy river.

We love Bluewater! It is located on the local, quiet side of the island, but it is still easy to get to the shops and restaurants. We love the free kayaking and sunset views. The units are clean and very spacious. Staff are excellent. Last time we visited, we received an email in the middle of the week from the manager simply asking if everything was satisfactory. We also love being able to access the paved bike trail just outside the resort gates. We enjoy HHI all seasons of the year!

Great pool with ‘Lazy River!

The unit is one of the most spacious timeshares we have ever experienced. The dock on the inter coastal is wonderful for watching the sunset and dolphins. Kayaks are available. There are two outdoor pools, one with a lazy River, there is also an indoor pool.

Beautiful resort on the intercostal waterway! Great kayaking! Great restaurants nearby! Love the golf at the country club of Hilton Head!

Our family loves to vacation here. The pools are spectacular! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very spacious. It's right on the Intercoastal instead of the beach, so you can take advantage of the calm water to go out on kayaks. Getting to the beach is easy, just takes a little longer.

We are owners here. Multiple weeks. Its a superb resort. We are treated like family here. Its very clean, very family friendly, its lovely without being snooty. Comes with golf package. For owners it trades extremely well through Interval. Walk to Hudson's Restaurant or Skull Creek Boathouse and Marina Restaurant and others. Gated. Private pier. Lazy river in the pool. Shopping nearby at Main Street/Hilton Head Country Club entrance is lovely. The sunsets nightly are phenomenal. Directly across Skull Creek from Pinkney Island so your view will always be National Wildlife Preserve.

We did not see any staff the whole week we were there other than at the pool deck. We had to walk to the check in to get extra trash bags, dishwashing packets, towels and tissue. At resorts that I own the staff would check with you about mid way through your stay to see if you needed anything. I think that if you have small children you need to install locks up high so they cannot open and run out. We will go back just hopefully some changes will be made. The bed in the master was awful and could not sleep except on the edge of the bed. The fitness center and indoor pool needs to be available other than when guess services is there.

We stayed there for first time Christmas week 2014. The weather was beautiful for the time of year and we took advantage of any outdoor activities we could. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We had a great time and will stay there again.

We were there two weeks ago. We never saw any staff except for one man who checked us in. Unit had no cell service and there was only a wall phone in the kitchen that did not work. The dishwasher soap door did not work. The tiny porch we had could not be used, as the sprinkler system covered it in water every night and the chairs and table and floor were wet all day. A large light on the outside wall of the master bed room lite the bedroom all night. We taped paper over the shutters(there were no drapes) but the light came through. There were only small trash carts outside the bedrooms and people threw trash away at all hours. There were almost no working hangers in the closet. The unit has so much wasted space and only a small framed mirror over the bath sink to use for putting on makeup.

WE STAYED THERE OVER THE 4TH OF JULY WEEK. IT IS A HIGH QUALITY RESORT, INDOOR POOL, BEAUTIFUL NEW OUTDOOR POOL, DOCK, ETC. SET BY ITSELF IT IS QUIET AND RESTFUL, COMPARED TO THE REST OF THE ISLAND. OUR 3 BR UNIT WAS VERY SPACIOUS, GOOD BALCONY WHICH OVERLOOKED THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY RIGHT IN FRONT OF US ON THE INTER COSTAL WATERWAY. NICE STAFF, RESPONSIVE, ETC. NO FOOD SERVICE OR GROCERY, BUT THREE RESTAURANTS ALMOST NEXT DOOD.

While not on the beach, the Intercoastal Waterway is fantastic for kayaking which is included at Bluewater. You can actually kayak with dolphins and spot a periodic Manatee. The location is also close to some of the finest dining on the island with Hudson's, Charthouse and Skull Creek Boathouse right down the street and the Old Fort Pub a short drive. The lazy river at the new outside pool is also a nice addition.
