The Vidanta Resort at Nuevo Vallarta is a little bit of paradise. The grounds are immaculate, as are rooms. The staff is really ager to be helpful. The setting is extraordinary by any measure. Golfers will enjoy courses designed by well known professional golfers. And during this rental period, the Mexican Open, a tournament on the PGA Tour, will be played at Vidanta. Come to Vidanta and allow yourself to be pampered.

We own several time shares and this the one we spend most of the time. Huge property, great cleanliness, beautiful landscape and awesome decoration everywhere.

Spending day at the pools, relaxing at the Jacuzzi tub in the room and enjoying the evening at one of the many restaurants is just perfect.

We also combine our stay with other activities like walking through Puerto Vallarta malecon while watching the sunset or experiencing a luxury sailing day with Vallarta Adventures.

All of it makes this resort our favourite one.

We have been enjoying the luxuries of Vidanta's resorts for many years, and cannot say enough about it! From the spacious and comfortable unit layouts, to the amazing views, luxurious pool complexes and amenities of the resorts, and the high quality dining and entertainment options you cannot go wrong! The staff are always friendly and eager to make your stay enjoyable and memorable!

Exceptional resort with so much to do. The unit is simply luxurious. We enjoy our stay so much every year when we come.

WE ALL LOVED OUR RESORT VACATION WITH ALL THE POOLS, BEACH ACCESS, LAZY RIVER, RESTAURANTS, SPA, AND FITNESS FACILITIES. THE WEATHER IS WARM AND SUNNY MUCH OF THE YEAR.

We love coming to Vidanta Nueva Vallarta and have always felt very safe and cared for. The airport is close and transportation is easy. Lots of beautifully designed areas to feel alone even though there are hundreds of guests, and it is very family friendly.

can't even count the trips we've taken and countries we've visited. this is, without a doubt, our favorite - especially for the money. word to the wise: don't go there for the beach; it's just average at best. but the resort itself is a 12/10 value - virtually "4-seasons" quality for "holiday inn" prices.

and fyi: be sure to check the dates of negative reviews. the primary resort area is pretty much fully developed now and, unless you're booked on the new resort side of the property, where the "cirque du soleil" theme park is being built, construction noise is a thing of the past.

This resort is just off the charts nice. We have been fortunate to have visited many countries and I can tell you few if any resorts can compare to this one. I'm actually writing this because there was another reviewer that posted a poor review. His review is so not true. We have now been to three of the Grand Mayan Resorts and we just purchased ownership at this one. The resort has endless options for eating, pools to choose from and free entertainment at night. When looking at your options you may want to understand that the resort has different levels of rooms and the top of the line is the Luxxe.

Nice resort with lots of pools. Wave pools, play area and kids club. The beach is horrible. Near a river, very muddy, dirty and pretty much unusable. Actually if you ask anyone who has stayed here they will tell you not to come here for the beach. Food is good but expensive. Rooms have bugs, beach has bugs and pools have bugs. Then again the resort is built on a swamp. Thankfully they sell bug spray. Activities and shows are the worst I have ever seen. Mostly retirement home style activities. Our kids love the pools but if there is a thunderstorm we must leave the resort in order to find something to do.

We have travelled widely around the world, and this is the best resort experience - ever. The suites are huge and luxurious. the staff is super-attentive. no wonder AAA awarded the Grand Luxxe 5 diamonds! In 2017 the construction is all at the east end of the property where they are building a Disneyesque theme park with Cirque du Soleil. no construction around the buildings closer to the beach area.

THIS RESORT IS FABULOUS, THE PATHS, POOLS, AND RESTAURANTS ARE UNSURPASSED. ALL STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. IN PAST YEARS THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF BUILDING GOING ON, BUT AT PRESENT IT IS COMPLETE IN THE RESIDENCE AREAS, AND QUIET. THERE IS REALLY NO OTHER RESORT THAT COMPARES, ESPECIALLY IN THE GRAND LUXXE PLATINUM AREAS.

This property is FANTASTIC. The facilities are Grand. The rooms are sizeable and in Good condition. The furniture is average. The check in and check out process and staff are Poor. The restaurants are all high quality, well located, kind wait staff, high prices, and small portions with side dishes charged extra. The free entertainment at the Santaurio building, which is terrific, is of high quality and lady until 1 pm. There is construction still occurring in Tower 5 with noise that is disturbing, even if you stay in tower 4. Humongous property with continual expansion and numerous opportunities. The beach is large and long with very few people utilizing it and no vendors! Very close to airport with lush landscapes, tremendous walk ways, and plenty of carts to transport you when you do not want to walk. A definite resort to visit!

This my second time here. Same kind of no beach view. Just upper the Spa jacuzzi,wich was very hammer noise by maintenance.Next day high noise from the next building close to our patio, also by maintenance of the cracks of the walls. When We arrived we have to wait almost two hours to get fixed our security box We request 3 times to get moved to other area of the building without any answer from the front desk The restaurants have few selection of dishes and very expensive for what You are receiving. Employees are the best, they do the best they can do to assist You, but this is their result of their needs to keep the Job. There are job resesion in the tourism low season

This unit is a 2 Bedroom Grand Luxxe Spa Tower one of the newest upgrades from the Grand Luxxe Residency and Grand Luxxe Villa. Opened at Nuevo in 2014.

There is really no place like it except possibly the Four Seasons. We come here each year and would never go anywhere else. The resort is huge with 19 different restaurants all serving different foods. The breakfast buffet at Del Lago is incomparable! I have never seen such a wide selection. The Chateaubriand for two for $42 at the Tramonto is prime and the service impeccable.

Yes there was still some construction, but the resort does its best to hide it from view- not always possible. It was easy to ignore, The beach is super clean, the water clear and warm.

The plantings are meticulously groomed with amazing vistas of lagoons lakes,mponds and of course ocean and mountains. The new gymnasium UNBELIEVABLE! HUGE with top of the line equipment. There is no where else that compares.

We have stayed here for the last three years over spring break and it gets better every year. This spring we stayed in tower 3 and unlike the person who complained about construction all the time, we were right next door and we bearly noticed it. The grounds are beautiful, the food at the many different restaurants is great and the staff is beyond amazing. We visit Mexico every year and this is by far the best resort we have stayed at. IF you have children, this is a dream vacation. My kids love it here and don't want to go any where else. The new beach/pool area that opened this past Winter is beautiful and so serene. My husband loves the golf and I loved my massage.

Yes we love the Luxxe! Spent two weeks in March in Building 1 just above the lobby! Could listen to the piano from the lobby if we chose but it was not too noisy if we chose not to. The suites are lovely and the deck is large and comfortable. Yes there is construction but we did not notice much after a while. We chose the un heated portion of the pool near the Punta building most days-fewer children and it heated up by late morning. As always the staff are first rate and so friendly. we spent our 1st week in downtown vallarta so did not go back to town but did go to Bucerios and love the town! We upgraded to the Villa and so now will be able to bring more family and friends with us! LOVE the VIDA!

Where do I even start? This resort is overbooked, oversold, heavily behind construction schedule, and with a passive careless irresponsible upper management. The only positive reviews you will see are from lucky owners who stayed in tower one, which is protected from the construction noise. Please check the photos and video I took, no human being should be put in a war zone where jackhammers inside and outside the building fire up all day long like 50 machine guns firing in your face. We were put in tower two, third floor, facing an awful construction zone. Trucks, workers, jackhammers, dust, dirt, pipes, etc. My teeth were chattering inside the villa, not to mention that going out on the patio was not an option. We called at least 5-6 times throughout our stay, asked to be moved to the Grand Mayan or any other resort, with no success. Many owners who paid 50-100k for these units were put in the same situation and were extremely upset. Upper management has made an awfully bad decision to put these units for occupancy at a time when they are not ready. Construction will be ongoing for many years. They were putting people in tower 3 as well, which has holes in the middle - the middle floors are empty!! How would one stay in a building that looked like it was bombarded? Unbelievable. Hot water for a minute, no hot water the next minute. Very slow wi-fi. No DVD player in the unit - we ask for one, we are charged a deposit for one, and when they bring it, it does not play US DVD's, and their selection of DVD's for rent is nil. In such high end villas, no DVD player, unless you request one and put down a deposit? C'mon. Freezing cold pools - they were supposed to be heated and they were not. No wi-fi by the pools. Mexican restaurant inside Grand Luxxe is expensive, with small and bland food portions. Resort is way out of town, cab ride to downtown was $400 pesos one way for five adults, 40 minutes drive time. A bit of a walk from towers 2 and 3 to the pool. The beach is not swimmable - murky water, with a sewer smell at times. No chairs or amenities on the beach. On the bright side, the staff in this resort is amazing, and I feel sorry for these employees because they are the ones facing all the upset angry customers. Stay away at least until construction is completed. And they need to work hard on their management skills. After complaining and asking to be moved with no success, and filling out complaints and making calls and asking to speak with higher management, all we got was an apology note and a brownie! Great, my family spent 5k to come on this vacation, which was a complete waste, and we got a brownie.

Beautiful and luxurious resort!! Loft room was perfect for a couple or small family. Views from our room of the river/ocean were amamzing as well.
