timeshare purchase

When purchasing a timeshare resale, are you taking over the payments or paying for the unit in one lump sum?

Could be either, check with seller if not clear in the ad. Most sales I have seen have no mortgage, so you are buying outright for cash, or you would have to arrange your own financing.
