Hidden fees when renting timeshares

I am planning to rent a timeshare. However, i would like to know if there are hidden fees behind it. For example cleaning fees, taxes and fees etc that i need to know about when renting.

For the vast majority of timeshare rentals there are no hidden fees ... cleaning fees and taxes come out of the owners yearly maintenance fee.

Some resorts do have a state-mandated daily tax on timeshares, similar to a hotel tax, the ones I've paid as owner amount to $2-4/day, not significant.

There are often telephone fees, for local and long distance too.
