Travel Partners Club - Has anyone had dealings with this company?

Feb 20, 2011

Hi:

Has anyone ever dealt with this company, Travel Partners Club, LLC. I'm looking at a resale timeshare on this site and this is who responded to my e-mail. Can't find any info about the company.

Thanks Colleen

Never heard of them but new ones pop up everyday .... looks like their website was started in 2010 so it's a relatively new company.

Looks like you have to register with their website to get any information ..... most people aren't going to do that.

I have been approached by this company to rent my week from me. Anyone had any dealings with this company? The say they will pay for the week up front and will do it through PayPal. They are offering a little less than what I have it listed for to rent. They have sent a contract over as well but I just don't know anything about them. So, am just putting this out to see if there is any feedback. Thanks

What details are in the contract? Are they asking for any type of upfront fee .... if so, they're a scam.

The contract looks very similar to a rental contract and they are not asking for a fee. In fact they would like an invoice from PayPal to prepay the rental.

They are offering a little less than what I was asking for the rental on Redweek.

They say they have a client waiting to rent from them already. I just get uncomfortable when things seem too good.

I would imagine an upfront fee will be in place before the transaction is complete .... otherwise how do they make money ????

Their website no longer comes up when accessed .... that should raise a big red flag for anyone thinking of doing business with them. The fact that they pirated your ad from Redweek with a cold call or email should also raise a big red flag .... there are literally thousands of travel scams out there now that everyone should be very, very careful .... proceed (if you should decide to do so) with extreme caution.
