Preferred check-in day of week for 4th of July?

Jan 09, 2013

I am going to put up for rent, a one bed unit in Orlando that will include 4th of July. My husband and I have been debating what date to offer check in for? July 4th is a Thursday, I lean toward check-in on Saturday, June 29th with check-out on Saturday, July 6th. This way the 4th falls toward the end of the trip so it ends with a "bang", so to speak. Any thoughts or suggestions?

This is our first attempt at renting. Now to determine what to charge!

Thanks, Beth

Sat always the best day unless it was the holiday! People like to get there few days early and make plans and like to relax couple days after a holiday when possible. Some like Sundays and some will except Fridays if they have to but most people work then trying to make trips very hard and cost more if flying. Sat always gives you more chance of renting for better price.

I'm just curious ..... can you choose a check-in day? Many timeshares are Fri or Sat or Sun check-in day and can't be changed. Just be sure you are able to choose the check-in day.
