Clean swimming Pool Liked the Restaurant close to the beach. Good food and great serving. Good Ocean swimming and beach walking. Bus or Taxi service to Puerta Vallarta. Excellent for a Family Vacation One bedroom can be split into 2 studios for a small charge. 2023 Maintenance fee paid and can be used in 2024, at no charge.

Mixed feelings on this place. Location, pools, grounds, beach, & staff all really good. However, the timeshare units are dated and in need of basic repairs. They had 3 weddings there during our week & they closed off areas...including 75% of the beach all of one day for a 6pm wedding. Building 6 that we were located in has the delivery/loading zone adjacent to it. Each morning early delivery trucks are backing in making plenty of noise. The night of the beach wedding that ended at 11pm they were breaking down everything until 3:30am, with little concern as to how noisy they were. On a side note, if you don't do the all inclusive you can't even purchase food or drinks on site at all. We had to go next door to Villa Del Palmer for most of our meals (which were all very good) and brought a small ice chest (per front desk recommendation) down to the beach/pool with our beverages.

We have owned at this resort since 2007. It has changed ownership several times. The beach is fantastic. The staff at resort is 5 Star. We now choose the all-inclusive option as they give the timeshare owners a very good price and we can choose optional days. There is a nice walk on the beach to Bucerias or a pathway. There is a nice long pathway to Paradise Village. Some of the timeshare rooms may need new furniture and better kitchen supplies if you do not choose the all-inclusive option. 30-minute walk to large grocery stores. I have never stayed in the high-rise hotel section. Our room are in the low-rise area by the infinity pool. We love staying here, I love everything about this area of Mexico.

I spent a week here in January 2017 that was phenomenal! Our unit was gorgeous and well-maintained. The grounds are beautiful, also well-maintained. The property is impressive and we absolutely loved the infinity pool! 30-min drive to PVR for some fun!

The room we stayed in needed a new mattress, towels were old, bathtub would not drain after repeated tries by maintenance, doorknob fell off the front door, cushions on furniture were stained, kitchen was not equipped with many items necessary to make a simple meal, coffee pot spout was cracked off , the only knife would not even cut an avocado and the light over the kitchen sink was hanging be the electrical cords. The pool and grounds are very nice.

If you want a quiet place to stay then this is it except for some of the entertainment around the pool during the day but you can escape this by staying on the beach. Love the infinity pool that looks like it blends into the ocean....got a great pic of this with horseback riders on the beach. We had to go to MEGA store for groceries (only a few minutes away by cab) and go into PV (only 40 minutes by bus) or Bucerias for a good meal as they asked to pay by credit card for every meal. Bucerias is a 45 minute walk along the beautiful beach and has lots of nice little shops and restaurants, also has a market where you can get all sorts of neat stuff. (I bought a sterling silver ankle bracelet for $15. I loved the beach and swimming in the ocean every day and the pool was very nice with a swim up bar. I don't like how some greedy people try to reserve lounge chairs with their towels. I asked staff and they said "no" they are not suppose to do this and sit wherever you want. Overall I loved it there but all I need is sun and surf and I am happy! A must do is the pirate ship. They treat you as if you are royalty. They put on a pirate show and you are part of the show as they make you dance and sing. So much fun. The dinner was excellent.

Beautiful renovated resort and an amazing pool and great beach area. They also have a great spa and there are several other hotels near by that have restaurants you can enjoy

Just returned from Playa del Sol Grnad this place was so overrated. There were ants in the kitchen that ruined our food it took four calls to housekeeping to have someone spray. Upon Checkin they gave us a room in building three which has a view of the hotel next doors air conditioning units. The staff was not friendly. Not looking to return to this property.
