I would rate the place 4 stars. I just stayed there for a week in a 2 bedroom lockoff. The one side next to the hall the walls were paper thin, heard peole talking in the halls all the time , and if someone used the jacusi tub, above or below, it hummed in my unit at a lower tone. I stayed in the 3000 unit number rooms. The cutlery and dishes were well scratched and worn as well. The unit itself was great location . Very pricy to eat anywhere nearby. Prices have nearly doubled to eat out in the last few years . Best to drive to Sobeys in the next town, buy your stuff, and cook your own BBQ for a third of the cost.

Wonderful scenery. Excellent accomodations. Spacious, roomy, and up to date furnishings. Friendly and courteous staff. Swimming pool small, but the hot springs is just up the hill. That is wonderful, water directly from the Hot Springs, and it is three pools in one. Skiing and golf are at the front door. Panorama, Kimberly, and Revelstoke are nearby in the Canadian Rockies with fabulous skiing. Championship golf courses (Mountainside and Riverside) are very well kept with fabulous scenery of the Rockies.

This is one of the best timeshare units. I have timeshares at Marriott and Four Seasons. This place would be 5 stars if they were air conditioned. But, the level of comfort due to 2 master suites (each lock-off unit of the 2- bedroom unit has its own full kitchen, its own living area, its own fire place) is incredibly nice if two couples stay there. One of the best golfing experiences you can ever have (Grey Wolf, Eagle Ranch, Copper Point, and Radium Springs). Very inexpensive and safe.

We just returned from Fairmont Riverside and were very disappointed in the villa. The soundproofing was terrible, the appliances (washer/dryer) were old and very noisy, furniture was older and uncomfortable, lighting was poor and the buildings didn't have elevators which isn't stated in the exchange book. The carpet had recently been replaced and the bathrooms may have been upgraded recently also. Riverside is billed as a 5 star resort and it shouldn't be. The other buildings appear to be new so we are guessing that is how they maintain the 5 star rating.

Incredible views of scenic area. Rooms are superior in quality and include a washer/dryer in hallway. Unit is a lock off and can be split and use one side one week and other side another week. Both sides are very large and comfortable.

Restaurants, grocery etc. on site. Towns are near and offer a nice selection. Golfing is great and reasonable. Super resort!
