Carlsbad Seapointe Resort

For the past 14 years, we have stayed at least one week a year at Carlsbad Seapointe. It is beautiful and well maintained, with nearly all rooms having ocean views, especially those on the second and third levels. It is very close to the ocean, but you can't walk straight to the beach without jay-walking across Pacific Highway, so most people walk a more safe route of about about 4 blocks to get to the beach, using a cross walk with stop lights to cross Pacific Highway. I chuckle at reviewers who complain about having to drive to the beach. The pleasant walk only takes 5-10 minutes depending on your walking speed. The beach is excellent, with good sand (but limited at high tide), no dangerous submerged rocks, and a manned life guard tower during the summer. Seapointe's swimming pools and other facilities are excellent, with a beautiful spa for adults overlooking the ocean. There are train tracks behind the resort, but I have never been awakened by the train noise.

Love my Carlsbad Seapointe resort and the staff, location is spectacular, so calming and relaxion is key, never had a bad experience, day use is even amazing. Can't wait to return again for a great family vacation.

Very nice resort located directly across PCH from the Pacific Ocean and a short distance south of downtown Carlsbad. Rented 2 bedroom, 2 bath units the past two years. The units are spacious with king in master, 2 full-size beds in second bedroom and pull-out couch in living room. First year was during Covid and the report made the best of a bad situation. No organized activities but all amenities were open (pools, hot tubs, fitness room, barbecues). This past year restrictions were lifted and the resort was back to offering organized activities (poolside Margaritas, BBQ, movie night, etc.). Staff is every friendly and accommodating. Second and third floor units provide good ocean views and breezes. Close but not too close to I-5 which provides convenient access to Del Mar, La Jolla and San Diego.

We stayed at Carlsbad Seapointe Resort along with another couple and had a fantastic time. We rented bikes and went on excursions every day. Very convenient to the beach and shopping, etc.

Great resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean! So much to do for the entire family (activities, beach equipment use, etc). Condo units are spacious with nice kitchens. Just steps to the beach with fabulous restaurants & shopping close by. Also close to Lego Land!
