    Angels Camp, California

WorldMark Angels Camp Resort lies in the picturesque heart of the Sierra Nevada gold rush country. If you've got a taste for adventure - this is the resort for you. Take in the rugged landscape from the well-kept grounds, and take advantage of amenities like an outdoor pool and hot tub while the younger members of your group frolic in the children's pool. Tennis and basketball courts keep you on top of your game, or get your daily workout on in the fitness room. Need a break from the sun? Take a break and play a bit with some ping-pong, billiards and arcade games in the resort's game room.

Available units range in size from one to three-bedrooms. One-bedroom units sleep up to four, two- bedroom units sleep up to six, and three-bedroom units sleep up to eight. Sleek decor mixed with traditional texture and patterns to create a homey feel that's "rugged yet refined. Every unit includes a guest Murphy bed, balcony or terrace, gas grill, fireplace, full kitchens and a washer and dryer.

Angels Camp is a destination for those looking to experience something new. Explore the eerily- named Moaning Cavern, a site that contains the oldest human remains to be found in North America. The Calaveras County Museum and Angels Camp Museum house artifacts and displays that hearken back to California's wilder days. Of course, the abundance of natural preserves in the area presents numbers opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, biking and horseback riding. In the winter, enjoy skiing at Bear Valley Ski Area and boating on Melones Lake during the warmer seasons. Have a taste for wine? Luckily, numerous world-class vineyards are located in the area!

Our home away from home! So much to do in the local area to keep a family busy for a week or two. The scenery around the resort with the old growth oak trees, foothills, and the golf course is just beautiful. We go back to Angels Camp over and over again.

We did a spring break family reunion here one year and had a great time doing historical touristy stuff in the morning, then spending the afternoon by the pool. The lush Northern California landscape was beautiful, and we had a great time at the little local museums, exploring gold mines, etc. The kids still talk about this trip.

This resort is a hidden gem in the gold country. The units are freshly remodeled, very comfortable furniture, beds are very nice. Units are always clean and all have great views with balconies. Every unit has their own gas grill, which is really great! Two swimming pools and several hot tubs. The staff here is always fantastic and helpful. Close to Murphys for wine tasting and great restaurants.

Located in a wonderful part of the world with a little something for everybody. Panning for gold, playing some beautiful picturesque golf courses at reasonable prices, visiting a real gold mine, window shopping in quaint old gold rush towns, visiting numerous wineries and tasting their great wines, fishing and swimming in pristine Sierra lakes. What more does one need, or want?
