Barony Beach Club is one of the BEST Hilton Head properties. Fabulous beach, activities and location! Staff are attentive and friendly, the resort is in perfect condition and the units are clean and well equipped. And the beds are probably better than what you have at home! Famous Marriott mattresses. Vacation in style!!
This is one of our home resorts and we always enjoy returning when we can. The facilities are always immaculate and the staff friendly and helpful.

Barony Beach is an outstanding family resort. This week is on the family-preferred garden side, with children's specialty areas and activities, and still only a short walk to the beach.
Simply the best resort I have ever stayed at. The excellent staff, room condition, beachfront location, facilities and cleanliness of propery and on HIlton Head Island.
Barony Beach is very well managed and maintained with updated rooms and facilities you would expect from a higher end Marriott property. The Hilton Head Island activities speak for themselves and the location in the Port Royal area is fantastic. We love the Atlantic Ocean location with sandy beaches and nice waves with refreshing water temperatures. Plus the pool facilities are great for relaxing. We have found the staff is knowledgeable for making recommendations for activities and dining out. This property is known for high owner occupancy which adds to our feelings of comfort and safety.
We have been owners of Barony for 25 years but have also stayed in all of the Marriott resorts on Hilton Head. It is our opinion and the consensus of other Marriott owners we have met that The Barony and Grand Ocean are the premier Marriott resorts on Hilton Head that check all of the boxes. But I would like to add that the front desk lobby staff at the Barony are the most friendly, courteous, and accommodating to our needs that we have ever experienced at a Marriott resort.
three excellent pools, beach front property with chairs & umbrellas available, multiple grills, game areas, easy to get around, staff could not be more helpful -- love this place!!
