There's a reason the Waiohai Beach Club gets 4.9 stars on Red Week (though I wonder where that missing tenth-of-a-point went!) and is consistently rated as one of the top resorts in the Marriott Vacation Club's worldwide inventory. This resort is ideal for families or couples looking for a touch of laid-back Hawaii. The grounds are beautiful,; the location is ideal; the facilities are well-maintained; the staff members are consistently courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Furnishings and finishes are cyclically replaced/updated so the units are always clean and comfortable. There's a good chance you'll see monk seals and/or sea turtles on the beach or swimming in the surf. Outdoor grills and full kitchens make for convenient in-suite dining, and many excellent dining options are available within walking distance or minutes away by car. Finally, but one of the highlights : the sunsets are simply spectacular.
