Can not beat the location. Great beach and lots of great beaches nearby. Pools are very nice and conveniently placed.Lots of excellent restaurants and shops nearby. Kauai is a magnificent island, you can feel your blood pressure drop the minute you enter the air terminal.

Beautiful resort with all amenities. Beaches very nice with turtles and mink seals regular visitors. Close to shopping, restaurants and activities. Beautiful sunsets!!

We have visited this resort over twenty times since 2005. It is a great resort on a beautiful beach, with a wonderful long-term staff. There are lots of nearby restaurants and shopping within walking distance. But the resort is so nice, you’ll be tempted to just stay on property and use the bbq grills and fully equipped kitchen. A week goes by too fast!

We LOVE this Marriott resort! Our favorite island and location of all of the Hawaiian islands! Gorgeous villa, breathtaking sunsets from the villa, and wonderful sandy beach with great snorkeling and playing in the sand! (Turtles and monk seals often make a visit to this area.)

Best resort for families, great location, wonderful beach, shopping center across the street. Locals are the nicest and friendliest. Plenty of activities. Not overdeveloped like Oahu or Maui.

Kauai is more quiet and peaceful than the other islands (except for the roosters at dawn but you get used to it). Mother Nature is well taken care of cause the island is environmentally conscious so you still see more endangered monk seals and Hawaiian sea turtles still on the beach, which are now more rare in Maui and Oahu.

We love being owners at Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club and consider it our second home! You won't find a more relaxing and beautiful place on the entire island. Our ocean view villa is perfect for a romantic week with just the two of us, but has lots of room to invite family or friends (it sleeps up to 8). We thoroughly enjoy the resort's swimming pools, and the beach is just steps away - where it's typical to share the sand with sea turtles and monk seals. The staff at Waiohai treat you like ohana. The Honu Bar is also the best!

We have been going to Marriott's Waiohai Beach Resort for the past 15 years and look forward to the trip each time. The resort and its customer service is phenomenal and you can walk from the main pool 30 feet and be on the sands of beautiful Poipu Beach.

This is a great resort for couples, individual or family. It's a tropical home away from the hustle and bustle of life. You can fill your days with lots of culture and activity or just chill-ax with your tropical drink and food. You will love the Aloha!

Incredible location, super clean resort, amazing food, incredible staff- I can’t say enough fabulous things about the Waiohai- we have been going every year for over 20 years and any get enough!
