Beautiful resort in lovely San Diego. Serene and peaceful area with convenient driving distance to popular attractions - Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, San Diego beaches, shopping and restaurants. Upscale resort is clean and quiet with immaculate landscaping and fully appointed, spacious units.

We've been going to Lawrence Welk Resort over the last 15 years and have had a wonderful time with our family. There is something for everyone and tons of amenities and planned activities for the kids. We enjoyed pickleball, golfing and a relaxing massage at their full spa. I highly recommend Lawrence Welk Resort for all ages and interests.

This is a great vacation place for families as well as couples! Our kids loved the pools and water slides and all the fun theme parks and beaches in the San Diego area. Now that our kids are grown, we still love coming to the Welk. The property is beautiful, we love the no-stress Executive golf course, always enjoy the well-equipped 6000 sq ft fitness center, and enjoy the adult activities nearby like wineries and restaurants. We're new to pickleball but we try to squeeze that in as well. The Welk theatre is one of our favorite outings where we always try to catch one of the great tribute bands that play there. The units are large and comfortable and include all the basic kitchen items you could want if cooking at home. We return every year once or twice a year and look forward to returning with future grandchildren some day.

So many things to do. Numerous amenities on property for everyone. Centrally located near all southern California amusement parks, beaches, mountains, and deserts. In the middle of a booming wine country.

Best resort for families with children. great golf course with moderate rates. fun time for all.

The resort is spacious and family-friendly. Lots of amenities: Golf Courses Swimming pools Fitness Center Rock climbing wall Whirlpool spa Waterpark Dining Family Game Room Theater Gift shops Etc.

An amazing home away from home with a view of the lake and golf course and feels like a 2 bedroom home with 2 full baths that are luxurious and a full kitchen to entertain a whole crowd.

The Hyatt Vacation Club Resort at the Welk is a beautiful resort with abundant amenities for all ages. The living spaces are completely remodeled and very spacious with large patios or balconies for additional living space. There are 4 large pools with one pool dedicated to adult use only. There are 2 water parks for kids at two of the pool sites with water slide and showers and sprays. Hyatt at Welk provides 3 activity stations for crafts, pool, games and creative centers. There are tennis and basketball courts along with an inddor wall climb and fully equipped spa and workout room. Bikes for rent are available as well. Welk Hyatt is a quick drive to many areas of entertainment including Sea World, Lego=Land, San Diego Zoo and Safari Park and Coronado. It is a delightful property that is quite large and provides nightly entertainment to enjoy. I highly recommend this fabulous resort.

This resort is terrific for persons desiring a roomy, very up to date and clean unit. The mini kitchen is ample for simple meals. The on site restaurant is first class. We have enjoyed so many of the activities. Golf, swimming, fishing, game nights, etc.

Lovely comfortable place to bring the family. multiple pools, 3 levels of golf, fun activities onsite. Staff is friendly and helpful. The weather is beautiful and San Diego is close by.

Hyatt Vacation Club at The Welk has quickly become one of our favorite getaway spots. The villas are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Every member of the staff we’ve interacted with has been incredibly kind and eager to make our stay relaxing and memorable.

Visiting during the Christmas season was especially magical for our family. From festive activities to the charming elf visit to our room, the experience was unforgettable for our kids. They spent hours playing and soaking up the holiday spirit.

We also loved the on-site restaurant—delicious food and gracious service made dining a pleasure. Every visit feels like a true escape. We can’t wait to return.

Wonderful location for summer vacation!! Within 45 minutes of San Diego attractions including zoos, water parks, beach, museums and port.

But if you want to just stay and the resort, relax and enjoy entertainment, there's plenty to do with 5 pools to enjoy, professional theatre, farmers market, evenings with food and live entertainment, golf, fishing, and classes and crafts at various community centers with transportation for you to get to it all.

Units are roomy, clean and refurbished with the past few years.

Great location for a family vacation or a quiet couple get away. We love sitting on the balcony overlooking the small fishing lake and 9th hole. The resort is centrally located to many SoCal activities. The Villa 192 is centrally located within the resort property to allow easy walking access to the 5 pools and clubroom activities.

Units that boarder the lake have grass from patio to the water. Stocked lake, fish from grass. Our deeded unit can be changed to points each year , but only if we request the change for that year

We have been more than happy every time we have stayed at any of the The Welk near San Diego.... which has been many times in the past 20 years. Love the location and all the activities in the area! You can have a wonderful vacation and never leave the Resort. Everything from Crafts to Fishing, something for everyone😍

Try to get the one-bedroom Villa with washer/dryer; it is the larger of the two units that make up a two-bedroom lock-off. The staff are amazing, and the balcony made my stay very relaxing.

Very relaxing resort. All the staff is very helpful. A perfect get away, lots of pools to choose from, water slides, also an adult only option. Close to Carlsbad beach, Carlsbad Outlet Mall, Lego Land, Oceanside Beach, San Diego, You can take in a baseball game at the nations number one Baseball Park at Petco Park, Disneyland is a bit of a drive, but still close enough for a day trip. Also the resort has many activities, farmers market, music under the stars, crafts, and an ice cream social, just to name a few.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Vacation Club at the Welk in Escondido, California, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The resort is nestled in a beautiful private setting, offering stunning mountain views and meticulously maintained grounds. Escondido's location is ideal – it's far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown San Diego to provide a peaceful retreat, yet close enough to easily access all the world-class attractions the area has to offer. We enjoyed visiting the beautiful beaches, Sea World, Lego Land, the San Diego Zoo, and so much more.
