No need to leave the resort. Multiple pools, an amazing fitness room, an executive golf course, tennis courts, activities, and show theatre on site. A short drive takes you to Legoland, San Diego, the beach and shopping. Very spacious unit with two entirely separate bedrooms with ensuites and views overlooking the golf course. Approx. 1370 square feet.
This is our family favorite with something for everyone. The rooms are spacious with a great family layout to provide privacy to parents and plenty of beds for the children. Do you like to exercise? The fitness center is top notch and included. With a variety of pools, tennis courts, pickle ball, golf, fishing, the Welk Theater, you never have to leave the resort to have a great time, but it you want, anything from beaches to the Padres games are only 30 to 45 minutes away. And the weather is much better than coastal San Diego!
The perfect location! Take advantage of the pools and beautiful gardens and also close to every single attraction in the area! Best of everything SoCal has to offer.

Love all the ammenities Golf, Pickel ball, Tennis, Pools, theater, resturant, stores, shopping, scheduled events, classes and more. Truely a great vacation.
We have always enjoyed this property. Ours is a 2-Suite Lock-out, so we can share with our kids and grandkids, but have a separate suite for privacy and sanity. There are amenities including a water park to exhaust young people. The facility is very well maintained.
We have enjoyed our stay here so much that we have been here twice this year. Very relaxing stay with spacious rooms overlooking golf courses. There's so much to do in San Diego such as beach, harbor curises, zoo, Safari park, Temecula wineries and Pechanga Casino. Or just relax poolside at one of several pools, even one with a slide. This vacation is both easy and interesting.
This is my grand parents favorite resort now. They've been here 4 times now. Great playing golf with grandma and grandpa. So much to see and do nearby.
This resort goes on for days and is so spacios- I think they have something like 16 acres! Full 18 hole golf course and a ton of other fun things to do with the Fam. This one has been the best. Another good one was The Colonies at Williamsburg in VA but they don't have nearly as much grounds/events.
Beautiful resort! Comfortable, fully equipped villa with a nice view of golf course from balcony. Has lots of pools and spas, fitness room, lounge, restaurants, shops. Nearby many locate attractions!

We love the welk resort with all of its lovely facilities. It’s a great place for family fun. The 2 bedroom villa is spacious and functional with lovely views.
The Welk resort has declined in all aspects. The complex in general is not maintained, they are doing the very minimal go get by. We had been told that once the resort was part of the Hyatt Vacation Club that the resort would be upgraded to the Hyatt standards. The resort has in fact declined and we feel the timeshare is another Ponzy scam.
