Harborside Resort at Atlantis

Harborside at Atlantis Phase1 Owners Facebook Group

just returned from our timeshare at harborside (oct 24-31 2014). this trip was almost perfect easily the best of our six previous trips to atlantis and harborside. the only problem we had was when my wife fell getting off the water taxi. badly bruised her knee but was able to gut it out the rest of the week just had to cut back on some of the walking. weather was perfect and the staff was excellent. we used foodstoretogo to get food for the week.it was delivered to our unit 10 min after we arrived and we highly endorse it. went to the fish fry on friday and ate at frankies. saturday we dined at carmines which is our favorite at marina village. we also went fishing aboard the dixie rose with capt john thompson and first mate andrew who cleaned our catch which we took back home to orchard park ny in a rolling cooler. we used a cabbie to and from airport & for trips to nassau . went to the casino most nights and won more than we brought with us. we love everything about harborside & atlantis except the high maintainence fees. would upgrade from our one bedroom if not for the uncertainty of ever higher fees.

Phase 1 has the best views but it is the older of the two. Both are upgraded recently.

I just saw this website and my husband and I have similar concerns mentioned throughout the postings. I tried to join the fb group mentioned but it says it can't find the group. I have created a new one...please join...we would love to figure some answers to so many concerns and questions. Here is the fb url: https://www.facebook.com/groups/105583143130577/

Thanks Tina and Juan

I want to join in this group. My concern is rising maintenance cost and we are not using it. How to rent this place

Here is the link to the original group which has over 100 members. No point starting another one.

Thanks! I had tried several times and it kept giving me an error...maybe fb was down at that moment...anyways I will take down the one I just created since this one seems active. Thanks!

I don't do Facebook and I'm sure I'm not alone. How can I stay up to date on any contemplated actions to get maintenance fees and other issues under control?

Can I join in Phase 2

Can we join also I am in Phase 11 Jeanette and George

Is anything being done yet. Fees are out of control and they just take and take with not regard or help for owners. Even if you pay fees but done bank unused time that steal it instead of auto banking for you. Even auto banking would be a start. Crooked Crooks poor decision to buy.

Who did you rent your unit from? They should give you this information.

Sue the greedy bastards

I have been told you are charged approximately 50.00 to change the reservation.

This is for a renter or a family member or a cousin, if they are not on the deed you will be charged if you change the name on the reservation within 6 month of the reservation.

This additional charge has never been to the board, it has never been approved by the owners and seems to me ripe for a class action lawsuit against Vistana. This covers all Vistana managed properties... We already each pay them over 100.00 to tell us that we have the right dates to the right week... I can't think of anything else they do...

I can't believe no one has complained or started a roster for a class action Lawsuit against this FL based company.

I am thinking of renting thru redweek could you tell me howclose the casino is to harborside

We will be staying in Phase1 at Harborside. Have been told how expensive Atlantis would be. Do you have any suggestions regarding restaurants which are reasonably priced and within walking distance? Or would we be better to rent a car? We are 4 adults and 3 children, 8,5 and 3 years old. What about transportation from the airport to resort?

We expect to use the grocery store for breakfast and some lunches. But didn’t want to be cooking every day!!

Lastly, are there any suggestions for a good fishing experience?

Thank you!
