sale of villiage at low cost

I am very concerned with the low prices I see for sale at the villages. IS THERE SOMETHING going on that I don't know about? I bought my 2bedroom lock-off at Red week 5-6 years ago and I was pleased with the price and service,. ($10,00) Now I see the same units going for $500 to $3500.--a few higher but not many. Can anyone reflect on this?
