The Sands is a very well kept and clean resort. Pools are heated with lap pool and two very large hot tubs. Staff is always polite, respectful and helpful.

This is the best resort in Cancun. Everything about the place is great. You are close to shopping and there are lots of activities at the resort to get involved with.

As owners for 23 years, I can attest to the remarkable level of property maintenance and overall quality of The Royal Sands. The food is delicious and the staff is always courteous, accommodating, friendly and professional. We love being close to things and having the ability to move between the various Royal properties on the complementary shuttle. We are close without having to endure the crush of Cancun Spring Breakers.

The resort staff, the rooms, the restaurants are all wonderful (because of the amenities and the friendly employees and the beautiful and comfortable villas, and overall location to the many near-by restaurants and shopping.
